It seems most people consider the top 5 to be Sgt. Pepper's, Revolver, Abbey Road, White Album, and Rubber Soul (order may vary). I think MMT is their fourth best, if not their third.

It would be a notch or two just under the top 5 that you mentioned. I've never heard the entire album, but I've heard most of it and it's quite good.

It's more consistent than Abbey Road.

A strong album that mixes pop, music hall, and psychedelia. I'd put it well ahead of Sgt Pepper and Abbey Road, neither of which I really care for.

About right. Behind those 5 and a Hard Day's Night for me.

Depends, are we ranking it as the original double-EP format? Or the US LP version? As a double-EP it falls near the middle of their discography. As an LP, 2nd or 3rd place, with Help! and maybe one other album ahead of it.

if it were an actual album, MMT would rank in the top 3 releases...As it stands, it is an excellent double ep, with some great singles attached...

Of the mature albums, Abbey Road and Sgt. Pepper are my 1-2, White and Let it Be bring up the rear (with Help! if you count it), but ranking Revolver, MMT, and Rubber Soul is really tough for me; love them all for different reasons.
