Sufjan Stevens - Carrie & Lowell for me.
Btw there has been a lot of great music in the 2010s so far. Just saying because a lot of people think there’s almost no good music these days which is so far from the truth.

I've got nothing.
Kate Bush's 50 Words For Snow has 2 excellent tracks (title track, Wild Man), but the album as a whole is deadly.

Yes, there has been a lot of great music in the 2010s. You may recall that Henry_Swizzlesticks_II started, and I finished, a series of "Top Albums by Year" threads on that other site. All I had to do below is add my 2017 winner to my previous choices. 2010 Silverlane - "Above the Others" 2011 Headless Beast - "Forced to Kill" 2012 The Mystery - "Apocalypse 666" 2013 U.D.O. - "Steelhammer" 2014 Riot V - "Unleash the Fire" 2015 Night Demon - "Curse of the Damned" 2016 Grim Reaper - "Walking in the Shadows" 2017 Burning Witches - "Burning Witches" If I had to narrow it down to just one album, I'd probably pick Riot V - "Unleash the Fire".

Easily Kayo Dot's Hubardo.
First time listening to it was after midnight in complete darkness and it was an experience like I haven't had with pop music since I first discovered Opeth ~15 years ago.
2nd place would probably be Bjork's Vulnicura.

Cool. Gonna check it out. Not that familiar with Kayo Dot, but I love maudlin of the Well. If you haven't heard any Kayo Dot, make sure to check out Choirs of the Eye as well. I prefer Hubardo by a little bit, but they're both masterpieces. Their other albums are more experimental and varied in quality, but never anything less than interesting.

None. I hate the 2010's and it's the worst decade ever for music.

My most favorite singer James Otto released his last full album on September 14, 2010 named Shake What God Gave Ya! God bless you and him always!!! Holly P.S. When will his next be out there finally? Only James can answer that.

Queens of the Stone Age - ....Like ClockworkThat's definitely a good one, and I'm not much of a QOTSA fan.

Queens of the Stone Age - ....Like ClockworkThat's definitely a good one, and I'm not much of a QOTSA fan. I was not either. I liked the Rated R album okay, but it didn't make me a fan. ...Like Clockwork, specifically the tracks "My God Is The Sun," "Fairweather Friends" and especially especially "I Appear Missing," made me cognizant of the fact that Homme is a blistering talent who can write something that sounds unique (almost impossible these days) and can capture an album-wide sound that helps define it as an overall work of art, but sets it apart from every other album ever made, including other QOTSA albums. In the latter sense, it reminds me of Siamese Dream or Darkside of the Moon.
