They should have given the "BATMAN" Franchise a Long Rest after the 3 Christopher Nolan/Christian Bale Movies which I think are All Great "BATMAN" Movies.

I'd prefer if he continued but it doesn't look that way.

I'd like to say yes, I thought Ben Affleck had some great moments as Bruce Wayne in Batman v Superman, but in the cowl he really isn't that memorable and in Justice League the character is just plain dumb and unmemorable. If Affleck wants to come back, then great, I'm happy to see him do it. If he doesn't come back, that's fine too. I voted "Who Cares".

Yes. Hes the best since Keaton. And the most violent. Who has racked up a higher body count? Him or Keaton?
Let's get nuts!

Yes. It would be crazy to recast him.

Well Keaton blew up a Axis Chemicals with I m guessing 20 bad guys in it. However Bale did burn down the League of Shadows. Not sure how many were in there.

Yes. It would be crazy to recast him. WB killed off Superman in his first sequel and removed all references to Darkseid in the first Justice League movie. Evidently they don't mind making crazy decisions.

The Batffleck is so familiar to me now, I'd like him to stay a little longer.
I saw a headline somewhere though, stating that Jon Hamm was waiting impatiently in the wings to snag the role.

Hell no . Get this bloated alcoholic meathead out of the Bat cave ! Give it to some actor that is much younger. Garrett Hedlund perhaps. He is tall, dark and can do the whole "brooding " thing really well.

No, he is an extremely mediocre Batman and needs to go away.

They should have given the " BATMAN" Franchise a Long Rest after the 3 Christopher Nolan/Christian Bale Movies which I think are All Great " BATMAN" Movies. ^^This. I'm not a comic reader, but I really like the Batman character. Christian Bale was great in the role, I thought. Ben Affleck wasn't a bad choice (and while I expected him to be good, he surpassed my expectations), but it was too soon...they should have let it rest after Nolan's films. They were too big to top. Despite having some problems, there were so many great performances (Michael Caine, Heath Ledger, Morgan Freeman, Gary Oldman...) that there should have been a little more down time before re-visiting the character. I don't mind (and welcome) different takes on Batman, but I wouldn't want to follow Nolan and Bale...especially as soon as they did. Maybe I'm crazy, but I think Affleck would have been better if he wasn't aspiring to write, direct, and star (as an iconic character who was previously portrayed by an especially superb actor). It seems like way too much work...for anyone...even someone like Affleck, who I think is extraordinarily talented. The crazy comes in here: when it was announced that Affleck was going to be Batman, I was really hoping for Kevin Smith to direct. For those who only know him from "Clerks" and "Jay and Silent Bob", he has more depth and a lot more to offer than stoner comedy. Plus he loves the character immensely and has worked extensively with Ben Affleck. I think they would have been a great team and despite Smith seeming to be a little aloof, I think he could have reigned in Affleck a bit and directed him effectively. He was great in parts of "BvS" but I think he could have been so much better if directed by a guy who loves the character (and apparently all the comic variations) as Kevin Smith. Maybe I'm crazy...
