I propose it's impossible not to like this guy. Even when he's a little bit brittle like he is here, he's still personable and communicative.
I didn't realise until very recently that the managers tend to have to do multiple (and when I say 'multiple', I mean into double digits and well beyond) post-match interviews for various media outlets prior to the official press conference. It's no wonder that even the most laid-back can appear confrontational if they're on the defensive for interview after interview.
I know they are well paid, but it must take a certain kind of person to do that. Not me, that's for sure.

I would be the worst loser ever if they put a camera in my face within 20 minutes of losing, especially if I felt there was injustice. I'd probably end up doing those really sulky awkward interviews where they just answer with one word answers. Love those interviews.  |

well ours was a penalty and Roy needs to fcking sort his players out, if tekkers wants a goal 0- make him actually f'ing scopre one in open play - (15 league goals last year is good enough for palace- and he has that ability_)

Yeah it was a pen, Lovren just wasn't streetwise enough to deal with it. I blame Mane as much as Lovren for yesterdays ballz up, he shoulda passed the ball to make it 2-0 and then theres no comeback A few weeks ago I was championing the appointment of Sam too, but not before the derby.  Everton are lucky to have the gangster |

oh by the way deffo penalty
he was beat by the long ball and followed it with his arms which shoved the lad over. he knew he was beat and should have just covered him- not run throw him with his arms leading! -the young lad was not in a great position to score.
not sure how anyone can see that as not a pen.

I realise it looks like a penalty from the angle behind their backs, but you really have to view it from the angle behind the goal line which shows their fronts to see what happened here. Lovren doesn't place a hand on him at all, what actually happened is the Everton player intentionally changes the direction or velocity of his run to get the contact so he can go over, it all happens so quickly it is easy to miss, but you really have to go bsck and watch the angle that shows their fronts. There was no push, hence there shouldn't have been a penalty.
