I cannot stop laughing at this picture. Poor Henry Cavill. He gets cast as Superman and thought "YES! I got the role of a lifetime!"
Then he got paid very little, got not the best director, got sidelined by a much bigger star in a much bigger role in his second effort, and in his third effort got screwed by little screen time and mustache/CGI drama. LOL
Here's hoping Matt Vaughn gets to do a Superman movie with him and he gets the chance to finally shine! ...without a mustache!

Yeah, I feel bad for Cavill. The guy seriously needs a break. I'm hoping he gets cast as the next Bond. Or he gets a way better director for Superman that allows him to actually be Superman and not Edward Cullen.

I'd like to hear any thoughts on what would be considered a bigger accomplishment. The resume of the MCU is that of a 22 solid film run that has achieved consistent results, raised it's box office value, established global brand trust, earned the purchasing eye of Disney, produced at least a few of the very best films in the genre, become the largest film study in Hollywood, and has become an influence on the entire industry.
Has any cinematic endeavor accomplished more than that? Yes. It's never been quantity over quality.

Sure, their movies may not be in the same caliber as The Godfather or some other greats, but all of their movies have been at worst pretty decent and at best pretty darn good. Considering that they're at what, 15/16 movies now? That's some ridiculously good consistency that is unparalleled by anything in cinematic history so far. Most movie franchises can't go beyond 3 movies without encountering a blunder. Some can't even get that far.

I did actually find these extreme hyperbole threads of his quite endearing. He will be missed. Poor poor Stamton

Says who? People with nostalgia? Because I'm pretty sure Avengers, TWS, IM1 and CW are all up there in the same bracket.
