You should. It's closest thing to a marvel movie that DC has! That's one of those statements that needs hours to explain why it makes no sense.
A - I wouldn't show up to a DC film or any film, just because it feels like a Marvel film B - I don't think it does anyway C - Marvel films are about more than the general sensibility, they're about a strong focus on working with comic history, inspired new takes, acting, character building, tertiary characters, fitting into the larger narrative, and all sorts of other things. Some one off film can't possibility posses the ongoing qualities that keep me coming back to the MCU. It would have to build those up for itself over a long period of time.
The structure, writing and payoff is exactly what you would get from a marvel movie. Hell Steppenwolf could easily been part of Thanos black order. The Flash and Aquaman felt like they were written for a marvel film.

BVS did better because it instilled the "gotta see these two on screen for the first time" bit. And then people realized it sucked, stopped coming, and didn't come back.
Are you going to admit Justice League, because I have no idea what point you're trying to make.
Whether you liked them or not doesn't matter.
Depending on which you judge things by the DCEU pecking order goes box office wise 5: JL @ $212m, 4: MOS @ $291m, 3: Suicide Squad @ $325m 2: BVS @ $330m & 1: WW @ $412m domestically, worldwide however it goes, 5: JL @ $615m, 4: MOS @ $668m, SS @ $745m, 2: WW @ $821m & !: BVS @ $873m, and given how Suicide Squad if it got a Chinese release would also be in the $800m+ range no BVS did not "run off" fans, that's the point fans haven't been run off but JL failed to sell people on going to see it, just like how despite the MCU having a fanbase/awareness of doing $1.5b in box office for a single film does not mean every film generates that interest, Ant Man generated $500m in interest based on how Marvel sold the film and the brands current standing in the industry, JL didn't sell itself to the people like all the other DCEU films have hence their lower box office, if the brand was tainted it would have meant Wonder Woman would have failed also not become the DCEU's highest domestic earner by a almost 20% margin.
You keep saying bullshit terms which are not true, DC haven't lost their audience nor have they been constant failures, has JL underperformed? absolutely, has DC got problems with WB's messing with things? absolutely, have the majority of the DCEU been underwhelming critically? yeah it has, but see those are factual statements that are not easily disproved unlike yours which is make up a narrative based off of the last films success, do you see the difference?
Just because YOU dislike the films doesn't matter, the DCEU has a large & stable fanbase which if they stimulate properly will come out for future films.
also "Are you going to admit Justice League, because I have no idea what point you're trying to make." makes no fucking sense what the fuck were you trying to say? because I already admitted JL underperformed, if you want me to say it's a bad film I cant, it has problems but I liked it overall, and thought the negatives are easily corrected, what makes JL "bad" is a studio mandated runtime instilled after the film had been written & filmed requiring 30+ minutes of the film to be cut, but even then it's not bad it's just not great, it's an ok film even with it being fucked with.
It's not that complicated
When BVS performs $400 mil short of Civil War and JL comes up $300 mil short of BVS
You are losing your audience. Something is wrong. You can sit there and say you like it all you want, you can try to pretend that $600 mil is a good total. But it doesn't change the fact, that something is massively wrong. You need to own that.

You still had the stupidity of a dead Superman and his resurrection subplot. It also didn't help the fact that they had to cram as much as they could within two hours. That's why the film suffered. From Warner Bros stupidity. But other than that it was like a Diet MCU film.

Because the story they wanted to tell couldn't be done in under 2 hours. At least not in a way to leave a meaningful impact. This movie could have easily been a episode of a Justice League cartoon with how rushed the plot was. Hell this could have been a straight to DVD Avengers movie for Marvel to make a quick buck.

I haven't seen it so I obviously can't say, but I'm curious. Guardians had them fighting over the orb while establishing both Ronan and the Ravagers, and then they get imprisoned, there's a huge breakout scene, then Knowhere and The Collector are established, The Nova corp coming after them, a huge breakout scene, a reconciliation and plan formed with the Ravagers, and then a coordination with Nova and a massive final battle.
What was going on in Justice League that was more extensive?

3 origin stories for 3 main characters that are more than just minor space criminals. There's a entire backstory for Steppenwolf that we don't fully get. At least with Ronan they gave us something, Steppenwolf was pretty much "me collect boxes. Why? LOL " There's the bullshit with Superman and his resurrection. An Batman thats apparently suicidal for some reason. The aftermath of BVS and how lois lane and how she's handling it. A lot to cover in a 2 hour film. Guardians at least had a simple plot that didn't split into multiple paths

I know there's this whole, "use flashpoint to fix/reset/etc everything" but what does that really accomplish if the audience still doesn't show up. And why would you expect them to? They obviously left after BVS, and JL hasn't won over me. So why would they show up? Because Batman is in it.

One thing I learned in architecture design school was that if they give you a month to do a project you'll take a month, and when they start giving you one night, you'll get that shit done in a night. It's all about how you use the time, and less about how much you have. I'm convinced they could have handled it better from a writing standpoint.

I don't need to own shit you fucking moron I'm not saying $600m is good, I'm saying WB failed to sell the film to their fans this time around, something they did however manage to do for every other one of their films, what DC does compared to Marvel doesn't mean shit because they aren't the same thing, they are different brands with different positions backed by different companies with different mandates, WB is run by fucking idiots who have done nothing but cause problems for the DC films since MOS, Marvel has Disney who support their plays and who try to correct problems before the cut off point instead of creating new ones after it.
The $600m is only good in the sense of DC has that fanbase that majority of them like the film, this means DC & WB if they are smart just need to take that into account, next time make a film where $600m is a success that way if it only does $600m then fuck it you still made money, don't make films that need to be top 10 films of the year BO wise to make a profit, it also means that they have a $600m fanbase left to build on, they didn't run of all their fans, or most of their fans or even half of them most of their fans stuck around for JL and most of those fans liked the film, that's the positive that their smaller fanbase is still huge and it's one that liked the last film, does nothing for JL but it's a positive foundation for DC to build on.
Also 1 film does not show a pattern which is my point, you keep saying DC are doing this and DC are doing that but you base it off the performance of one film, one film which could be an outlier and not an accurate identifier of what is actually happening, also the pattern you talk of is one that is more clearly effecting the MCU films, the big team ups are dropping in BO from one to the next, the finales of the trilogies are doing less each time also, so the interest of the casuals is dropping for the MCU it seems, but here I unlike you see the other obvious point which is good for them, there's an upside where the actual base fandom has grown significantly so whilst they may not get the shocking $1.5b or £1.2b of a Avengers or IM3 they have the stability of 3 $800m movies in a single calendar year, which given for those big BO's Marvel had to give almost a year of space to build anticipation, now they know they can release 3 films a year and do over $2b at the BO with 4 months or less between the films.

So there are 2 options. A: The films are so shitty that these big time characters can't outsell Doctor Strange with their flagship title, or B: The characters aren't as beloved as you think
Pick one

Oh as soon as you started name calling I haven't read past the first sentence. I just thought I'd respond so you'd spend time writing another 6 paragraph essay.
