They got a lot more with fox though they wiIl be fine without FF. Maybe they ll be like Hulk and used in other films but no Solo films since they don't have the rights. If nothing works out ai think MCU is just gonna let FF fade away and be forgotten.

They'll probably try to get them back to get their hands on some of Marvel's best villains (Dr Doom, Kang, even the Negative Zone villains). If Feige was able to get Disney to pretty much fire Ike Perlmutter from the movies, I'd think they'd sell out a bit of cash to get the FF rights back. Especially since it'd be way cheaper than the Fox deal.

By that logic, they never would've made the Daredevil TV show. Or dared to try anything with Guardians due to obscurity.
Besides, getting the rights back means they get the villains tied to the FF rights. They want THEM, even if the FF brand is damaged.

Well, they did relegate DD to Netflix rather than giving him another movie. That says a lot, innit?

I won't presume to know what they were thinking, but I think a continuing TV show can make as much money as a Blockbuster movie. And they're cheaper to make, and allow for storytelling opportunities you don't get with movies.
Nothing ventured nothing gained.

I'm not sure exactly how much money a Netflix show makes, but I know it's not as much as a network tv show and certainly not as much as a successful movie. Its also possible they just thought DD didn't fit their cinematic series.
