I'm actually curious about these two series
- Back when the Alba FF films weren't doing so well, Marvel and comic fans simply let them go.
- But the DCEU is getting the exact same types of critical scores and fan reception and yet DC fans want more?
Why?
Why wouldn't you want to start it over like Marvel is about to do with the Fantastic 4 so that you actually get a good version, rather than continuing to settle for the failed franchise that's been delivered? I really don't get this.

Because they can salvage the solo movies for Flash, Green Lantern and Aquadude.
Also WW could have a decent trilogy.
Also Cavil is still a good casting so future Supes movies could be decent.
Also who wants more reboots?

Also who wants more reboots? Exactly, Fantastic Four went the wrong approach from the start, they played their full hand and it was the wrong one, you can't turn that around. The DCEU though is an entire universe of movies. They haven't made movies with The Flash, Green Lantern, Aquaman, Shazam, Martian Manhunter, Green Arrow, Teen Titans etc. All movies that will have their own tone, look and talent behind it. They'd be no less likely to fail than if they started over. Batman vs Superman made by Zack Synder didn't stop Wonder Woman made by Patty Jenkins from being critically acclaimed. There's nothing to stop any future movies from being critically acclaimed either just so long as they hire the right people.

Fantastic Four 2005 and 2007 were both financial successes (the first more so than the second) and both were critical failures (Silver Surfer actually has a higher RT score). Do you have a link to a poll of Marvel and Comics fans that proves that they "simply let them go". Is there a link to an announcement from Fox explaining why they decided not to make any more sequels? Maybe it was budget concerns, maybe the cast was too expensive or uninterested, maybe it did not meet their financial expectations. Regardless of the reason it has nothing to do with the DCEU. They are 2 completely separate situations.
Every single one of the DCEU movies has been a financial success (including JL which is now over $600M WW). Maybe they are not as financially successful as many people hoped or expected but they have been successful nonetheless. Most of them are critical bombs but Warner Brother's doesn't care about that if they make money. The Transformers movies are all critical bombs but they make lots of money so they keep making them.
There's no reason to start over a new DCEU when the one they have is successful enough. It would cost more money to develop everything from scratch and who knows if it would work after all is said and done. Fox rebooted the Fantastic Four in 2015 and it was a disaster critically and financially.
Wonder Woman proves that the franchise can produce blockbuster movies and get critical acclaim as is. All the other DCEU films prove they can turn a profit.

Yeah there's no reason to right now. Aquaman comes out next year, unless that film HORRIBLY bombs, there's a fighting chance.
Like @deblovesbeccy once said. If they put more money and time into the batfamily, DC will be financially set for years. I wish you would stop asking for a reboot every 10 seconds.

I'm convinced no matter how many times they fail there will always be a fighting chance. It's always "if" and "don't worry next time"
I'll stop asking, but I do think the only real option is reboot.

But the point here was that people were ok not having more FF movies, but DC gets the same reception and there's a push to keep going. What's the difference?
Is successful enough really the standard now? FF was successful enough. It just wasn't as good as it could be. Why are we settling?

I really don't get this. I don't think true DC fans would be bothered by a reboot. But for DC extremists, it would be an admission of the DCU's failure. A thing from which they live in a constant state of denial.
