Those two girls in that movie are hot. Dam they don't make them like those anymore. I couldn't care about the plot. I have to see this. Are they single?

I like Wrong Turn for what it is: a tribute to (or ripoff of, if you prefer) 'backwoods horror' films of the 70's and 80's such as The Texas Chainsaw Massacre, The Hills Have Eyes, Just Before Dawn, Hunter's Blood, Rituals and, of course, Deliverance. There are some good chase scenes and scary looking villains (though they're shown too often) and, yeah, a few good looking women, but the film lacks the atmosphere of those earlier classics and it succumbs to every cliche in the genre. Worth seeing though. Not surprisingly, the sequels are mostly rubbish.

Isn't this the one with Quinn off of Dexter? Passable, but barely. Quite forgettable, and not worth a quadrillion sequels. Rest Stop was even worse IIRC.

They sure are hot! The film is also great IMO. A nice throwback to backwoods slasher flicks and just a lot of fun to watch. Just as @screamingtreefrogs, I'd rate it 8/10. The sequels I like the most are definitely 2 and 4. 3 was pretty lame, 5 was ok, and 6 is just plain stupid.
Wait.. Which 2 girls are we referring to cause last time I checked, there were 3 in the gang?

It's a lot like 'hills have eyes' I've actually never seen the original or the remake for THHE, let alone the sequels to both. However, that will soon change

R rated horror movie but no nudity. That's okay if the movie is good. Sadly wrong turn needed the nudity.

However, that will soon change awesome avatar i've only seen THHE remake. enjoyable with some brutal scenes. thought it was well done. i'm a huge fan of the Dawn of the Dead (2004) remake. just like DOTD (2004) with CJ - in THHE you get to see the transformation of a 'bad guy' you can't stand turn into a hero. In this case - 'Doug' seems to be a weaselly worm in the opening half of the movie - but steps up bigtime and you end up rooting for him in the end. 7/10 beers for me

Never seen the original for that though either. And thanks for the compliment for my avatar!
