Because I sure think it has. I mean it's always been a terrible movie, but I did like it when it came out. But back then, I was still on the Nolan-cool aid and was too scared to admit that the same director that gave us the first Batman movies just disappointed everybody with this horrible excuse of a Batman film.
But the film never held on rewatches for me and it got worse each and every time. And after trying to rewatch it a few times this year, I simply could just not make it through this piece of crap.

No. It's just not a good film. Seriously the whole time I was asking myself "how is this made by the guy who gave us The Dark Knight?". Story was horrible, nobody felt like they were trying and Hathaway was a terrible Catwoman. It's just a bad movie altogether.

How does something “age horribly” in five/six years?

The Talia twist and how Bane died was bullshit but it fulfills the 'fallen hero returns' arc well enough.

No, it holds up fine although I do think it's the weakest of the trilogy.

I actually really liked "THE DARK KNIGHT RISES".
I also Absolutely Loved the Twist with Talia al Ghul (Marion Cotillard was AWESOME in that whole scene where she stabbed Batman, revealed herself as Talia, and then explained to him about her real past history with both Bane and her father Ra's al Ghul).
I do agree though that Bane's Death Scene could have been done much Much MUCH better!

I found the ending fight scene a little underwhelming, but overall I thought this was great. They beat you over the head with the metaphor of the pit prison vs the well Bruce fell down in his childhood, but I thought it was for the most part well done. The first appearance of Batman when he returns on his motorcycle is awesome. That was the highlight of the movie for me...runner up going to a surprisingly effective (she's a great actress, but I rolled my eyes the first time I heard she was cast for this role) Catwoman by Anne Hathaway. She surprised the hell out of me.
I would think that any "aging" of a film would be mostly in the special effects. In this movie, it's the...Batcopter? I always thought it looked like a flying lobster. Still cool. It only looked a little weightless when it lands in the underpass near the truck right before it attaches the tow cables to the bomb.
All in all, I get why some may dislike this installment, but I really dug it. Bruce Wayne is tired, depressed, and miserably indebted to Batman. Kudos to Nolan for giving the character one of the few happy endings he's enjoyed in the 90 or something years he's been around. This was a damn good movie with a few storytelling flaws (and who could blame the writers?...this is a character who's been around for ages). If I made it, I'd be happy. Everyone's a critic though.
"Nobody ever built a statue of a critic" -Miles Davis
One thing though...Come on Hans, aside from Bane's drum theme and the rise from the pit, there is a LOT of recycling going on...

I'd say no, simply because I didn't think it was that good in the first place. There's some okay things, mainly pre-back breaking, but the movie begins to fall apart soon after.

No. Aside from cgi heavy films I'm not sure any film could age horribly within 5 years.

No not at all. Bane is still a much better villain than anything ever put out in the MCU (intimidating as hell & all around sinister to the core)
My only complaint is that there were too many characters and not enough Batman screen time.
8/10

Standalone perhaps, yet it pays off TDK trilogy perfectly for me. Sure it was lighter tone than the previous, so what, it works for me.

I mean, it's not Batman being held prisoner, it's Bruce. I like that.
