I'm sure you've seen ads in the past for people like Kenny Kingston, and more infamously, Miss Cleo.
So have you ever called their phone numbers for a psychic reading?
If so, did their prediction come true?

If so, did their prediction come true? No. This is a true story. Several years back 3 of us were in Pittsburgh to see the Steelers play. We had a few hours to kill before the game. So we see this place that says psychic readings. One friend says he wanted a reading. The lady starts giving him his reading. A lot of the stuff was kind of general but she said two things that really got our attention. She said make sure one of you is a designated driver tonight. Two of us got really drunk but one only had one beer. Remembering what she said that person drove. We got stopped for a burnt out taillight. Had either of us been driving we would have got a DUI for sure. But the other thing she said was amazing. Remember we are from out of town and there was no way she knew anything about us. She said to the guy getting the reading that his brother was going to make a big investment in a business in Boston and it was going to be a big success. A few months later his brother bought a bar/restaurant. It is now a big money maker. How she knew he even had a brother and even knew the city he would start his business is amazing.

No. And I didn't feel any sympathy when one of them filed for bankruptcy- shoulda seen that coming (couldn't resist).
I did phone sex a few times, that I'll freely admit to.

No...
Because the real psychic friends should know, before I do, that I want to speak with them, and they should be calling me.

A friend once told me that he once called a psychic line because it was cheaper than the sex lines and he started talking dirty and she accommodated him.

I went to a psychic in the mid 90s once. I got a $5 palm reading. She told me I'd grow up to be a rock star. I was wearing an AC/DC tshirt.

No but my Uncle used to often make prank calls to them and the phone sex lines they advertised on TV and speak in different accents and make squishy loud fart sounds. He is a little eccentric to say the least.

But remember we are in Pittsburgh. Nowhere near Boston. Out of the thousands and thousands of cities in America how did she know his brother would start a business in Boston?

I am not sure we are on the same wave length. Here is an example. Say you go out of state and decide to get a reading. The reader don't know you from Jack let alone what state you are from. Say you had a sister that was thinking about starting a business in some city far, far away. Like I said with the thousands and thousands of cities in America would you not wonder how she new what city you sister was starting a business? That would be like someone saying think of a number between 1 and 100,000 thousand and on the first guess picks the number you were thinking of.

here's another thing to think of.... sometimes they just plant the seed in your mind and you end up making that reading reality.
she could have said that in hopes that you would tell your brother. this sparks an idea in his head and he looks into bars and pubs in boston. and here we are.

But the thing is his brother already lived in Boston. So for her to pick that city is still amazing IMO.
