This is an ultra hard choice to make as I love both movies and even though I own the Criterion Dazed Bluray, I might have to give an edge to The Stoned Age. Loved it for it's comedy and surprising realism. At least with my friends that's how it was.

i just want to forget those movies existed, american grafitti and nostalgia for the 50s was fun, nostalgia for the 70s is kind of blech

I think "Dazed and Confused" is way overrated, I would need a huge blunt just to sit thru it.

hard to answer.
i guess dazed is more of a masterpiece, though i guess an arguable masterpiece, it's very simple yet great if you're into the type of movie that it is.
stoned age is just plain fun and comparable to dazed. so is love and a 45 and everybody wants some in some ways.
i go with dazed and confused.

Dazed and Confused is actually a quality movie. The Stupid (oops) I mean Stoned Age is a pot movie that has very little pot smoking or funny scenes or anything worth watching to be honest. It's basically just an excuse for horny kids to look at boobs. I say this because I remember a lot of moronic kids I knew gave that reason for loving it (BEWWWWWBS) when it was released on video back in the day. The same idiots didn't like D&C because "It's a buncha talking and the girls don't show nuthin"
