They're both sentimental and schmaltzy, which seems to be my preferred genre, so for me, it's a toss up between Going My Way and Mrs. Miniver.

I've never been a big fan of All The King's Men either. Watched it once and couldn't get through it again. Not sure why.
My personal reason was that the interesting characters was a sort of "passing by" in the story, and it concentrated more on the, in my mind, lesser interesting characters. Though I certanly don't dislike either John Ireland or Joanne Dru. I don't know how to explain it, but it felt that I didn't get involved and felt something, like I do in the other nine movies.
