Well, when Disney bought Marvel they cancelled all the animated shows that were running. The very same could happen to The Gifted.

I like The Gifted. Well, it's OK, it's not great, and it certainly isn't better than AoS or Agent Carter or any of the Netflix shows.
The series with Marvel characters it's better than are Inhumans, that old Captain America series, and Spike TV's Blade.
This poll is only a reminder that dcfan is not objective or unbiased as he repeatedly claims. Just a sad troll.

The Gifted is your standard "special people with special powers on the run from the government" show, it doesn't break any new ground and visually its as TV as you can get - there really isn't anything to the visual or special effects or the cinematography that makes you think for one second that you're not watching a television series but a film instead. You don't even have to pay attention to the show very much in order to understand what's going on, either. The last few episodes I've had the show on and I was doing other things around the house, barely paying much attention to the TV screen, and guess what? I still understood everything that was going on. The Gifted is nowhere as compelling or as engaging as the first seasons of Daredevil, Jessica Jones, The Punisher, Agent Carter, and the last few seasons of Agents of SHIELD, and it barely scratches the creativity of the other X-Men TV series of the year Legion, where the visuals never are dull. To answer your question though, the first season has already been made and it will air as scheduled on the Fox network. Marvel is still deciding, or have yet to announce anyway, of what to do with the X-Men property - they definitely want it in the MCU that is for sure, but how is a different story. The Gifted works as its own thing without being tied down to the continuity, or lack thereof, of the current wave of X-Men movies, so if they wanted to integrate it into the MCU they can do so easily and it wouldn't really hurt a thing. |

The Gifted is a great show, so is Legion. Agents of SHIELD sucks. It's just a big commercial for the MCU's upcoming films. They have to constantly butcher the show to fit the most recent movies.
