Because it's simple and dosen't try to explain everything, just like the OT. The PT "ruined" that and everybody moaned, now they don't do that and every body moans. HAHA
SNoke is snoke, a powerful force user that controls the First Order and Kylo Ren, that's it. Just like Palpatine even in ROTJ was the emperor that had force powers and controled Vader and the empire, that's it. But Snoke is dispatched without ceremony and the "Vader" of this generation gets to be the "emperor".
The Sith are not "explained" in the OT none of it is, The Knights of Ren neither.
In ANH Luke was a nobody that was the son of a powerful user, Rey is someone that everybody thinks it's linked to that but it isn't, or is Kylo lying? In ESB half of the audience didn't believe Darth Vader why should Kylo be telling the truth?.
Obi Wan was a jedi knight that did nothing except confront vader and become all powerfull, Luke just did the same and in a cooler way.
In Ahn there's no reference to what controls what, nobody knows the extension of the empire, where the throne world is, nothing , neither on ESB.
ETC ETC ETC
Man , this movie is everything a Star Wars fan would want. Almost nothing got explained in the OT, just that luke was vaders and leias sister in the second and third movie.
I'm really happy they didn't explain a damn thing. This isn't grey's anatomy, this is STAR WARS.
The fanbase is spoiled if they want exposition. Fuck exposition. The emperor never nedeed exposition to be powerful.
I may be in the minority but this IS the way SW should be.

I see your points but even if valid that doesn’t change how bad everything else was. You’re going down a long path of justification here. At that speed are you sure you’ll be able to pull out in time?

Luke wanting to burn down the sacred temple of books he hadn’t read which Yoda destroyed and Luke scolded him 10 seconds after wanting to burn them himself?
The strong far left sentiments where all rich people sell weapons and deserve to be trampled by space horses?

The strong far left sentiments where all rich people sell weapons and deserve to be trampled by space horses? Luke was always like that. He goes from naive farmer, to rebel hero, to jedi aprentice, to jedi drop out, to jedi, to jedi teacher, to jedi teacher drop out, to hermit, to jedi again. He was always inconstant. I guess people wanted him to be the uber jedi, and even though they got it they still moan. As for the burning, he is so divided he dosen't know what to do, until Yoda, wisely says, books a jedi don't make. Let go! As for canto bight, I was under the impression those were not the only rich people in the galaxy, it was a gathering of rich, evil people. Leia was very very rich. In the trillions upon trillions of people in the galaxy... What are you talking about?

It's the connection so you see the spark when poe says it. You can't fly, in space you float, that's mnothing but a simple force push. He saw that millions of times, force jump, force run, force push. It's in space, there's no resistance. LOL fly in space... LOOOOL

Well Rose seemed to think the only way you could get so rich to be able to gamble at such a glamourous place was by dealing weapons. The space horses were then dispatched to trample over everybody inside the surprisingly fragile facility, no doubt killing innocent workers as well.

So Rose is a formidable way that knows the absolute truth... OK! I didn't particulary liked that scene (or rose) either but was in no way BAD or movie ruining. I didn't particulary liked that little bears destroyed a garrison of imperials but does it ruin the movie? Get out of here...

The fact that apparently you can fly in space if you have the force Pointless? it shows people are still living, profiting, but are those that are going to oppose. It's the connection so you see the spark when poe says it. Sure, why not spend 40 minutes with JarJar Finn and Yoko Ono to see that people are still living and profiting. time well spent
