Only 67% on Rotten Tomatoes from the ordinary people ? Whaaat ?? link
And on IMDB, the movie has 40.000 votes and 8.2 score. Will not make it into the top 250 ! Force Awakens made it into the top 250, and was in the first 50 movies on IMDB in the beginning. But the Rotten Tomatoes score shocked me, only 67% !! I saw the movie, it has some things that the fans will not like, me neither, but overall it was good.

Wow the backlash for this is far worse than for Force Awakens. Maybe critics saw a different movie or got some nice gift packs from DISNEY.
I give it a 7, the last hour really dragged.

The last hour really dragged. i gave it a 7 also when i was out of the cinema. But the more i think about it, the less i like it. Might see it again at home to see how it feels the second time

Scores from internet users are the most useless bit of data one can cite for any purpose. They are less than meaningless. Idiots can vote on movies they haven't even seen and vote multiple times.

According to Metacritic, early audience scores are ABYSMAL:
1. The Empire Strikes Back: 9.0 (4% "negative") 2. Star Wars/A New Hope: 8.7 (4% "negative") 3. Return of the Jedi: 8.3 (3% "negative") 4. Revenge of the Sith: 7.6 (9% "negative") 5. Rogue One: 7.6 (10% "negative") 6. The Force Awakens: 6.9 (20% "negative") 7. The Phantom Menace: 6.0 (17% "negative") 8. Attack of the Clones: 5.9 (18% "negative") >>> 9. The Last Jedi: 5.4 (39% "negative")

It just came out. 98 to 99% of the people who are planning on seeing it haven't yet. I can't put much stock into fan scores when it's been out less than 24 hours.

People have been seeing the movie for a few days now. And, to your point, even if the scores are "premature" they would theoretically be coming from ardent fans. There's no way to spin this. The movie sucks.

For starters, 8.2 is a good score. A really good score. And so what if it doesn't make it in IMDb's top 250? This entire post is misleading. It has a so-so score at RT, a good one at IMDb, but a good one from Google users, and a bad one from metacritic. I think it's more accurate to say mixed.

99% of those ratings are from fake accounts. Almost all of the accounts were registered on the day the rating was posted.
Same thing happened with TFA. Go on IMDB and metacritic. 95% of the reviews were negative even though the average user gave the film an 8.0 or higher.

What on earth will be the point of creating fake accounts to vote star wars down? ? And who are these people? Marvel fans? DC fans? Anti-disney protesters? Sounds like a major conspiracy....better get the FBI on the case..... 🙈🙉🙊

Just seen it. Better than TFA. But for a multitude of reasons I left underwhelmed and disappointed by some story choices..It also reinforced my own worries for the franchise and what some more of us negative Critics have said all along.

Yeah, it's trash. Never paying to see another Star Wars movie again.

I think the bigger issue is fake positive reviews and paid critics. This movie would be a hard pill to swallow for long time fans to be heaping it with so much praise.
I can completely see Newer Audiences to Star Wars enjoying this film. But not long time fans in general
