Try keeping up with the updating while knowledgeable and enthusiastic players are firing answers lickity-split! Actually Matt, I WAS thinking about you trying to keep up with the updating today. I could see that the posts were coming in like a comet today.  I always work only from the OP update, assuming that it is not up to date. What I do is: open two windows--one for posting and the other for seeing what is still available on the refreshed OP. After posting an answer, I go to the OP window-- refresh <CTR R> and try to match something that looks like it may still be available (not red yet). Of course, I realize (as we all do) that there is a gap between what we see there and what really is available. But, I like it like that. I only really look at the thread per se AFTER a game is completed...and that is interesting to do too. Often, that is the first time I get to read your interactions with us players as they came in to you. Being busy with the game in real time, I often only see your comments after a game is over. --------------------------------------- BTW, I just finished watching The Great Santini (1979) for the first time. Wow. That movie was intense!!!!  |

Only kidding about the hectic pace, Kijii. After all, the alternative (nobody responding) is too horrible to contemplate.
