Yep, I never thought that I would have 3 ways (4 ways if you add my computer for watching) to keep and watch movies or TV series, but I have a queue in my DVR too--mostly recorded from TCM here in the States. Then I have two streaming channels--Netflix and Amazon Prime (where I can rent a movie for about $3 but have to watch it within a certain amount of time--or lose it). Then, I am still ordering some DVDs just to fill out some of the binges that I can't get elsewhere.
But, I am really starting to hate DVDs (of all things) because I don't know how to scan them quickly (or start, pause, and restart where I had left off.) I can foresee a day when DVDs go the same direction as VHS tapes have gone.
BTW, as I try to watch one director or actor, I notice that even the best had some bad movies. So, unless one is doing a comparative analysis of which movies were good and which ones were bad (within a category), it is best not to be a try to be completist. While I am into Gary Cooper right now, it was hard to compare something as bad as The Adventures of Marco Polo (1938) with a truly humorous movie like Along Came Jones (1945). While I am not an out loud laugher, this movie sure made me smile. It is so well-timed that it is hard not to love it.
