Kijii - I read Rwitter but I am not much into the Hashtag thing. It is used to mark a subject that is trending. Most used by me is
#ImpeachTrump or something like that.
The # is on the main iPad keyboard when in the Twitter app, but it is now on the secondary keyboard. It was on the third, which made for a lot of switching and it is not always in the same place. That makes it really tricky for a half-blind person like me.
