Damn, I love these Batman: The Animated gifs/pictures of yours. A solid reminder to myself, that I need to give the show another go, as I have not seen it for a very long time now. Of course, since then. It have been re-released on both DVD and Blu-ray, but I will probably just keep the older DVDs and continue on where I left.

I hadn't watched the show since it originally aired on TV here in the 90's, but I saw the complete series was available on Blu-ray and I could get it for a good price. It was fun/interesting to revisit the show after so long (and to my surprise, the set also included The New Batman Adventures (which I'd only seen the odd episode of). It really does hold up well. Some of the best versions of the different Batman characters are in this show, I think. The remastered look of the episodes certainly makes a difference when compared to the original versions of the episodes (which you can compare when watching the the extra features). A really excellent series/interpretation of Batman (the commentaries on select episodes are also quite entertaining).

Yep, it is heads and shoulders above most of the animated "kiddies" shows from the late 80s and early 90s, but re-watching it a few years ago, made me realize how well written and directed this show really was. A lot of darker and very haunting themes, which went far ahead of my much younger self, when it went on television during the 90s, and I guess also the inclusion of so many varied and different types of villains, who many got their own introduction or episodes to start up with, made it even more interesting. I am glad it finally found its way to an upgrader DVD and Blu-ray release, as it seemed like one of those great 90s shows, that would never get that kind of treatment.

Ενδεικτικό της σημασίας του για την Αρχαία ελληνική φιλοσοφία είναι ότι όλοι οι Έλληνες φιλόσοφοι πριν από αυτόν ονομάστηκαν Προσωκρατικοί.

The book isn't terribly much more creative than the sample pages Amazon gives you, and personally, I didn't find any of it particularly funny. I just appreciate the casual hilarity of having this book on display in the office. It takes all of 30 seconds to flip through the book and enjoy the various depictions of cat carcasses. I found a small handful of them to be particularly humorous, but nothing to write home about. Serves my purposes, though.
