Yeah, I'm only on page six of this thread, and I think it should have been titled "your favorite sexy actress that coincidentally played a cop."

If memory serves, the OP started with Scully and Muldaur.  Agreed. Jerry Orbach mentioned later, agreed.  Along with most of the cops in the L & O franchise.   Other than that, I only recognized two or three.  Lots and LOTS of photos, looks more like a Playboy photoshoot.

My list in addition to the above?

Keanu Reeves in Speed.

Most of the agents in Criminal Minds.

James Arness as Matt Dillon.

Robert Stack as Elliot Ness.

(my emphasis is on law enforcement characters.)

 Edit: Bruce Willis as John McClane in the Die Hard franchise.  Flawed but lovable.

HirundoRustica already said on his very first post that they don't have to be sexy, but it's a bonus if they are. Mind of you that I do tend to get very carried away with posting images and choosing which images and  at what limit I should post. But then I previously said way in the beginning that I thought I found my life's calling. As you can see I certainly have.  

Btw you have a strange sense of what you opined as a "Playboy photoshoot" to those numerous images. Most the of the actors/actresses posted are of actual top billed or billed police characters from actual movies and tv series. The overwhelming number that I have posted myself I have either seen at some point or another and/or in their entire run. Although I do not consider myself a a "cop show" nut since I truthfully am not too vested in watching them as much as possible.

However in my search of content and titles, I do find myself remembering watching a few episodes years ago from shows that were canceled and then forgotten from memory only to be rediscovered again. Such as the Canadian TV series '19-2' to which I ended up binge watching mostly the English version and some of the French-Canadian version because it was that good.

And of course I've been reserving actual Playboyesque images from T&A, erotic, and softcore movies and already having them lined up among the dozens of more titles straight through the Summer. It's been great going through all of them with my clothes still on while a real headache to find images that are not too risqué to post.
