Re-watched 1, and watched 2 & 3 last couple of evenings.
Like 1, and 2 was pretty good.
But boy did 3 stink the house out something rotten.
Is it worth delving any further in to the series? Or was it downhill from 3 onwards?

It goes downhill after 3. I'd also avoid the Children of the Corn remake.

It goes downhill after 3. I'd also avoid the Children of the Corn remake. Cheersπ It always seems the same with horror film series' for me... Like 1, 2 is good enough, then 3 onwards goes off the rails and right downhill. EG. Children of The Corn, Final Destination, Halloween, Poltergeist, etc.

doesn't Isaac make a return in '6'?
i would have thought that alone would make it worth a watch.....
love the original and the King short story - can't remember much about the other sequels....

The TV movie remake was such a downer, but it did stick to the story King wrote. I think I like the 1984 version better, if only they could swap the endings.
