Has any band other than Yes ever been taken over by a member or members of another band for one or more albums? Which one/s?

Did (a) member/s of MC take over VH, or did (a) member/s of VH take over MC?

Did (a) member/s of MC take over VH, or did (a) member/s of VH take over MC?No, John Corabi took Vince Neil's place in Motley Crue for one album and Gary Cherone took David Lee Roth's place in Van Halen for one album just as Trevor Horn took Jon Anderson's place for one album. I guess you could say Sammy Hagar took over Van Halen, but that wouldn't be in line with the OP. Does Adam Lambert count? lol
