This was reasonably entertaining, but somewhat flawed. I think the writing was muddled, and there were several very predictable/cliched parts to it. But by far, the best part was when Ward wasted the corrupt cops. That was hardcore.

IMO, it was a great concept (Lord of the Rings meets End of Watch), but flawed execution. I think it would've worked better as a TV series, giving it the proper format and time to depict the world and the different races.
Quite frankly out of all the races shown the elves seemed to be the most interesting yet were the less developed besides representing the 1%, despite this the characters Leilah and Tikka were my favourites.
Hopefully the sequel, which I believe has already been green-lit, will focus more on the elves, Brights, and other races, as well as be less heavy-handed with the social commentary.

Yeah, they set up an awful lot just to dispense with it as the movie became a standard chase movie.
