I love it! The first pic is what I had on my twilight zone t shirt I used to have I think. Oh cool ! That's so awesome you used to have Twilight Zone T-Shirt ? I always intended years ago to make my own makeshift TZ T-Shirt but unfortunately never got around to it - oh well . Yeah I bought it at this sci fi convention I went to like 15 years ago or so. I'd like to eventually get another one. I searched and they have twilight zone t shirts on other sites and even on amazon.com but I just don't think any of them are as cool as the one I had. But I'll still get another one

But I'll still get another one That's so excellent jayhn1111 did you get to meet any Twilight Zone stars on this last sci fi convention too ? No it was a little disappointing. I"m not saying it was bad or anything, but there was nothing there for me. No stars or anything like that. They had some sort of activities that you had to sign up for, but it was nothing I would do. It was cool to see a lot of people dressed in sci fi style costumes and things like that like you'd normally see at conventions though. So I basically just hit up a few of the merch tables and ate lunch there and went home. The only other convention I ever went to was a Star trek convention in New Jersey. That was like 2003 I think. William Shatner was there which was cool. But it wasn't like the glory days of the conventions in the 80's and 90's where people flew in from all over the world. But still a cool convention. I would love to do more of those. Have you been to any?

Also perhaps you may even get to purchase another Twilight Zone T-Shirt as well . Surprisingly in my whole life have never been to any of those sci fi conventions . The closest I have been to a convention is watching one on a commercial for the COMET Channel ( I don't get out much a bit of a homebody type here too ) .

Oh that's ok, it was only 30 miles from my house so it was no big deal. But the star Trek one was great I am getting another twilight zone shirt for sure, I just need to find the one I want. But it's never too late for you to go to a convention some day. Maybe they'll come close to your area some day

I'm very glad your new year's celebration went perfectly for you as well . Of course you know you were most welcomed to join in on that TZ Thread poster gbone started up - it was a lot of fun too . A lot of it I read after the fact. Plus I was mostly reading posts from my phone and it's kind of a pain to post by phone . I guess I could've signed on but I was afraid I'd end up staying on the computer for too long instead of watching some shows. Since I don't remember the names of episodes, I'll give you the ones by description of the ones I enjoyed the most. Kind of a top 7 list One of my personal favorites was the one with David Gerny where he loses his identity. That was freaky at the end. The episode where the man and woman wake up after a night of drinking and end up in that artificial town which was because they were toys the girl's father brought all the way back from earth lol. Love that one. The bewitching pool Wow what terrible and cold people those kids had for parents. Some people just shouldn't be allowed to be parents. Hocus locus frisby that was enjoyable. The end was hilarious with the harmonica. The episode where the guy goes back to his old town but goes back in time as well and meets himself and parents. Great episode. Long distance call What a selfish woman that grandmother was. Really good episode. It's a good life. That always gives me the chills. I think that kid was responsible for the murder of 90% of America's population as well as almost every last animal. I didn't remember that, but the opening scene where they showed the map and the only life forms left were in that small town. Can you imagine? Those are the ones that came to mind the most.

Those are some really awesome selections there jayhn1111 . The " David Gerny episode " was called - " Person or Persons Unknown " The couple that wakes up to the artificial town was - " Stopover in a Quiet Town " " The Bewitchin' Pool " was another sentimental favorite of mine too . I was so glad in the end that Aunt T had taken them in and away from those ungrateful & and awful parents of theirs too . They got to have fun with the other nice kid named Whitt ( the boy with the straw hat ) and eat those excellent giant cakes too ( household chores was a very small price to pay there ) . " Hocus-Pocus and Frisby " was a riot - Frisby - King of the Tall Tale to humans but genius to the off-worlders that has an instrument ( the harmonica ) that let's out a death sound ( as the off-worlders put it ) . The guy that goes back to his old town that episode is called - " Walking Distance " " Long Distance Call " is my first favorite Bill Mumy TZ episode . My second favorite Bill Mumy TZ episode is " In Praise of Pip " " It's a Good Life " is my third favorite Bill Mumy TZ episode That little monster indeed he certainly did some inhuman and unimaginable things . I'm really glad you had a lot fun with your own special TZ Marathon as well ( thanks to your magic DVR too ! ) . A Very Happy New Year to you too !!

Thanks for those New years wishes and links to the episodes I actually never dvr'd anything. I just kinda flicked it on here and there and the ones I listed were my favorites out of the 12 I saw. But great episodes and it made me want to buy the dvd set sooner than I planned to. Some of them are scary like a horror movie of it's time

But I got the night off from work so I caught up on a lot of my dvd's and tv shows at least That's actually my second favorite episode of this entire show - " The After Hours " . My first favorite of all is - " Miniature " it's been my all time TZ fave ever since my very first TZ 12 hour Marathon back in the mid 1980's on one of the local channels . We actually got about the same amount of snow as you did over there . Luckily I live in an apartment building so my landlord has a person who does all the snow plowing and us tenants don't have to do anything with that either . I only hope you didn't have to break your back shoveling this heavy and dreadful snow at all . I'm so looking forward to spring now . That's excellent you got the night off work and were able to watch some quality TV programs also in the wonderful form of DVD's too ( all in the safety and warmth of the home as well ! ) .

After Hours is great. I also like miniature with that doll house. Thanks for posting those great episodes I remember watching those marathons on my local WPIX 11 station in the 80's. Good times Glad to hear you made out ok there. It's tough for everybody in this weather. That's great that you don't have to go out there and shovel. One of the advantages of living in an apartment. I don't do shoveling anymore either I never want to go back to those days. Maybe I'm a wuss, but I'm afraid of killing my back and knees and getting a heart attack. LOL I love Spring! My favorite time. I have 2 trips I'm taking in May and the weather is so perfect. Not too hot and not too cold.

This TZ Show all around is just awesome classic quality Television . I never tire of old school programming - especially Anthology shows . My other favorite show with Rod Serling is - Night Gallery of course that one is a bit different from TZ but IMPO still well worth viewing . I'm so glad you didn't have to shovel any of that awful snow and trust me when I say you're not a wuss either . It truly is back breaking work and does a number on the knees and elbow joints etc. ( can we say " I'm in traction here ! " ) . That's so awesome you already have a pre plan for your spring vacations also . I agree the spring season is definitely quite comfortable as well as cooperative too . I guess we will just have to hang in there until then .

( can we say " I'm in traction here ! " ) . It is easy to pull out your back shoveling that heavy stuff so everybody should be careful. I would actually like to watch Night Gallery at some point. I remember watching a couple of episodes in color in the 80's when it was airing reruns. I have that on my list of shows to watch. Now I am struggling with that list because I started watching more Tennis and wrestling and other things and I'm trying to juggle that with watching tv shows and it's hard to watch it all. Plus I made that list like over a decade and my tastes have changed a little bit. Like I have a bunch of crime dramas on it like the Rockford files, and Hart to Hart, Remington Steele, Riptide, etc... Lou Grant is one that I really want to watch. I"m not saying that's a crime drama but a great show. Though I have a lot of sci fi stuff on the list but it's kind of outdated now. But stuff like Star Trek, and TZ, and night gallery is kind of timeless in my opinion. Outer limits is on the list too. Just too many tv shows to watch and not enough hours in the day

Pick at least one show an evening to watch . It can either be from the same TV Show a different episode in order every evening ( and to keep the continuous on-going storyline in a good focused flow for every evening as well ) . Also to keep it from becoming dull mix it up a bit and watch a different TV show program episode every evening too . Classic Anthologies are the easiest programs to get through because you don't have to watch these in any particular order also ( and before you realize it you will be all caught up on it as well ! ) . All in big fun here right jayhn1111 ?

I watched about 8 different tv shows and watched 2 different programs a day which ended up adding up to me watching each show once a week and I didn't watch much on the weekends. I did it for years. But then I finished a few of the programs and didn't replace them with new ones and bought a bunch of wrestling dvd sets. I thought I'd keep with the same routine but with the wrestling shows and just a few tv shows. But then I ended up not wanting to watch 2 programs a day so I started to fall behind so it was a readjustment period. But I think I'm figuring it out and I'm close to finishing a few of the sets so I can cut back on things. But I do think I want to buy that Lou Grant series. Hopefully I don't fall behind again.

You're most welcome jayhn1111 I'm so glad I could be of help to you on this too . It can happen to the best of us here . It's really easy to fall behind on other catch up programs when we get focused on certain other addictive shows too believe me I know what you mean here . Don't worry if it's all on DVD it will be real easy to catch up on all of it very soon ( it will still be there when you get back to it again ) . Thank so much for your wonderful compliments here as well .
