Blade Runner 2049, is one of the best films of 2017 as far as I'm concerned. The original bombed too, so I'm sure they would have anticipated moderate to poor box office only. It's the art, concept and realization of it that will make it a keeper, as opposed to those other text book and by the numbers bombs listed. It will soon be revered. If they only anticipated moderate to poor box office, the budget wouldn't have been what it was...Alcon Entertainment is probably finished as a result.

I never actually watched it, but 'Geostorm' seemed like the kind of movie that I hoped would bomb.

King Arthur for me. That film could have been great if they hadn't tried to put 6 hours worth of material in a 2 hour film. What a missed opportunity.

LOL...why is Monster Trucks on there? That never aimed to be more than a B movie. I thought it was a cute film good for family viewing.

Why is Justice League not on here? That was a huge bomb. Financial disappointment, but not a bomb.

That's a shame about Blade Runner because it's a really good movie. It's weird too since in terms of hype, it seemed like the biggest movie released within that two week time frame. I guess the trailers looked cool, but there wasn't enough "story" seen the trailers. And to be fair even when I saw it i wasn't certain what the plot was. I'm guessing it was hyped by the film fan community, a bubble, but not much more.
