And a few more Star Wars-related pics... And I know this isn't a picture, but I only just discovered this video and thought it was pretty neat...

By pure luck, the intrepid photographers stumbled upon a pair of MerryMen lounging in their natural habitat.

Wild Bill Wellman directs the Wings tracking shot These "behind the scenes" documentations - in this case, of the reverse view - of iconic cinematic moments are so endlessly fascinating, as are all the nuts and bolts of the mechanics of film making. Would it be some form of classic cinema chauvinism to opine that such a shot in a current film would seem self-indulgent and self-congratulatory, while having been innovative, elegant and involving in 1927?

Reviving an old thread. Judging by Fred's costume, I'm guessing this was snapped during production of The Sky's the Limit at RKO, which was next door to Hope's home studio, Paramount. Now, what could be causing Fred's horror? Could it be something like, "You call that dancing?" Or more like, "You walked over here from Paramount in a tee shirt?!"

"I can see your panty line through those white trousers! And they look like...Ginger's panties!" Take your choice of Hope's rejoinder: 1) "And what do you know about Ginger's panties? You know how jealous Phyllis is." 2) "Don't tell Dolores...or Bing."
