All scenes with Hopper were deleted from the print that was eventually aired. any idea if they were deliberately nuking Hopper or did it just work out that way ? I don't really know. But as Irwin Allen was definitely not the sort of producer to hire actors and shoot scenes with them unnecessarily, I'm going to guess he had a darn good reason for cutting Hopper's scenes, such as getting down to a 60 minute time slot w/commercials.

Richard Kimble Even that little bit of the "house" is gone but still people ask at the Hotel and the visitors center. Next trip i am getting details on the windmill ! edit to add: sounds reasonable about Hopper. Something / somebody hadda go.

Thanks, Spider. I've always loved Warren Beatty. I feel bad that his last film did so poorly. I think he worked on it for over a decade. I hope it doesn't mean we won't see him again.

And I was wondering why Orson Welles appears to be in a wheelchair while directing in Feologild's CITIZEN KANE picture. Does anyone know?

BAT, you're amazing! Thank you for the instant explanation. I can't believe he had that CK full plate with a broken ankle.

jervistetch I get a kick out of lookin' stuff up and larnin' whilst doin' it. I read a couple of biographies of Welles a couple of summers ago. Interesting life indeed ! That picture looks like he was directing one of those painful opera scenes.
