People hated The Dark Tower. George Takei hated Beyond because of what they did to his character. I am a huge X-men fan. I think that's why I hate what they have done to those movies. I have been against them since X2 (X1 got a pass). And when has the X-men movies made the MCU look dumb? The MCU has been on top since the beginning. Also never said I never cared about the MCU. You just mad cause I told you that the comic Age of Apocalypse is a retread of DoFP. And that DoFP the movie is Singer rehashing X2 and Terminator 2. It's not DoFP's fault. That's Singer's fault. I bet DoFP wouldn't be a rehash if Vaughn made it. Singer doesn't have an original bone in his body. Why'd you stop at TDK? Why not TDKR? Mangold made The Wolverine, also. Why praise DoFP and not Apocalypse? That's Singer's follow up to DoFP. Oh, because they aren't seen as good, huh? you are not a huge xmen fan. you need to stop saying that.its almost too sad. you are making mcu look even worse. i dont like mcu because their movies are a cancer to cinema and have harmed the comic genre and I don't pretend i like it. an xmen fan that is still saying DOFP is a rip up of of T2. lol. only you darling. only you. the world knows thor 3 is rip of of gotg 2. and all mcu movies are the same. that is the difference. MCU has been on top? because in the real world we live in MCU toped logan and legion in 2017? not in the real world I live in. no xmen fan who reads xmen comics can like cgi jokey disney mcu comedy movies. it is impossible as they contradict the xmen lore itself. dont worry i was not mad at you, i know how desperate mcu fans get because unlike xmen, batman, superman or spiderman,. mcu properties don't have any good land mark classic story like DOFP or AOA, the death of superman, crisis on infinite earths, the night gwen stacy died or the Killing Joke or The Dark Knight Returns or whatever. a real xmen fan understands why many film artists hate mcu movies. if you think i am lying. watch this clip of chris claremont when he said mcu is explosion, costumes and no real stroy telling. funny. this is also how many film artists feel about mcu movies too. so sad, so sad that mcu is seen as the joke for the fun and the funny this is marvel in a nut shell. really fun i had fun its fun so fun incredibly funny ridiculously funny plain fun have fun fest of fun. Only a blind MCU hating fanatic would say MCU movies don't have substance. The only cancer around here is you using that word to describe the MCU and for some odd reason coming back to this board with some new article just to belittle MCU fans. On top of that you are way to aggressive with your opinion and always treat it like a fact. If you actually read the reviews rather than the headlines then the reviews actually talk about the movie's substance. DOFP was good but it doesn't make The Avengers look dumb at all it just makes pretentious snobs like yourself assume you're smarter than everybody else as a result making yourself look dumb. Regardless DOFP did take points from T2 while not being nearly as good. The airport scene in Civil War was the only scene with jokes and any normal person wouldn't be so offended by some humor so my advice for you is that you grow a pair. Also the cinematography was fine. Do you understand that those film artists may be in the minority. Again them being a film artists doesn't make their opinion any more credible than yours or mine it's not like they have some sort of degree in film criticism that makes their opinion a fact. I love Nolan but that doesn't mean the MCU sucks Nolan's movies aren't technically superhero movies they're just great movies about superheroes MCU on the other hand are superhero movies with a comic booky tone. Most mcu reviews are for the fun and the funny. had Fox or DC made thor 3 or gotg 2. the reviews would have been a blood bath. DOFP could not have taken points from T2 because DOFP and X-Men comics came out first. you are arguing with the impossible. this is a counter attack mcu fans use because all mcu movies are the same. some of you have refused to use logic. the cinematography in civil war was awful please stop defending it. loot at the truth. Film artists are only a minority to mcu fan boys who live in disney land. the fact that you think the nolan trilogy are not comic book movies is the reason why mcu movies are awful since you dont know comic books from the silver age did grow to be something more than costumes and fighting villains , jokes and fun with hardly any depth or story. interesting that marvel-disney did not get the memo too. MCU movies look ugly? Ha ha now I have read it all. Have you seen a DCEU movie? My guess is no with a comment like that. Justice League looked horrible. No one ever looks real in or out of costume. |

It was his own fault, he wasted time instead of doing his job. Edgar Wright's 'Ant Man' would be a million times better than what we got. I'm happy he left 'Ant Man' though. We got 'Baby Driver' which is far better than most of what the MCU has to offer. Nope. Its the other way around. |

I just enjoy good movies. X3 and XM:A are not good movies. X2 and DOFP are. BvS, SS, and JL are not good movies. Wonder Woman is. There is no hate. I just appreciate an actual enjoyable movie. Amen. I like what I like and I don't take sides in fan wars. The effort some people put into fighting for someone else's IP is staggering. |

Nope, far from it im afraid. Try reading the original post from this thread again. The original post is a bunch of nonsense from a desperate person who can't accept it's not the year 2000 anymore and the way CBMs are done have changed. The MCU does all that stuff, just in a way that shows it's not ashamed of its origins the way FoX-Men is. FoX-Men was the last bastion for people who dislike comics, and now that's gone too. |
