@winterssuicide the deleted scenes can all be watched on you tube without consideration. It's worth it but ultimately not too interesting. Excellent and thank you. I'm...surprised that's allowed. I would think there would be copyright issues.

I would think there would be copyright issues. All the other Star Wars movies have deleted scenes on Youtube. I guess they don't care.

Oh god I hope that Disney NEVER get their hands on Harry Potter. It's bad enough that they violated Star Wars. and The Muppets. Let's not forget that after they bought The Muppets, they immediately broke up Kermit and Miss Piggy. They were the only romantic long-term relationship in The Muppets. Modern Disney is way too pessimistic for my tastes. Who knows how they will punish Indiana Jones and co. in the new movie!

I would think there would be copyright issues. it might be partially covered under "fair use" concepts, and it's not watchable in every jurisdiction, but they could take it down and Disney nukes content when it's online before official release.I guess it's like mythological Hydra, when you cut one head down, countless others pop up.
In the end just a wild Bantha case and legal costs...

Yeah that one was pretty obvious. Hamill was very vocal about unhappy he was and then suddenly when it's time to do pub for the movie he does a 180. Very convenient.
Like how almost every actor in history somehow thinks their newest movie is awesome during the publicity tour. What a coincidence.
I'm sure Hamill is aware of what happened to David Prowse. If you get on the bad side of powerful people, you are done in Hollywood.

Great link! Can you blame Hamill for being done with SW?!? With the way they wrote Luke in TLJ what would be his motivation for returning to play the character? Even as a Force ghost? Of course you never know if Disney would wave enough money in front of his face for him to do a Force ghost cameo... but I highly doubt that this will happen. For one, you can tell that Disney does not care about the legacy of the Luke Skywalker character by how they handled it in 2 films. They want it to spotlight Rey and put her on a pedestal by contrast. They're obviously glad Luke is gone and out of the way. Secondly, Hamill has no interest in playing Jake Skywalker again. And even if a Force ghost cameo would be written more true to Luke's characterization, I doubt he would be interested in doing it since the characterization has been permanently wrecked. The real Luke as a Force ghost cameo would come off as odd flip-flopping and shoehorned. For some people, money is not the end-all be-all. Hamill is already rich enough by his paydays for doing Luke Skywalker and the voice of the Joker. I can't see him being interested in throwing more tarnish on the biggest character that he's ever played.

I love Mark, but dude openly defends the prequels. As he should and is within his right to... The prequels had their strengths and their weaknesses. Everything that I've heard from him comes off as defending their strengths, not their weaknesses.

I love Mark, but dude openly defends the prequels. Not unconditional love, eh? Of course he's going to defend the prequels because they were made by his friends.

He's always had a passion for Star Wars and his character. Here's a vintage interview with him: He held that same passion for 40+ years...but it seems like he's finally losing that with the new movies. Over the course of this huge publicity tour he keeps having to do for Episode 8, it's like he's become disillusioned by what they've done to Leia, Luke, and Han. It's sad as it's exactly how I feel too. It's hard to "move on", but it's necessary to not end up jaded and bitter. I do like the end of the above video where he talks about a sequel to Episode 4 being called "From Alderaan With Love" or "The Alien Who Loved Me"

I love Mark, but dude openly defends the prequels. As do many if us he is a gadfly troll, Kuato I mean.
And a bad one at that. While formersam manages to create considerable traffic here with his absurd delusional antics, nobody really cares for poor old kuato.
Be kind with him, but don't feed him too much.

He might have to step it up with formersamhmd permanently banned. Innit?
