Because it's that time of year, there have been some interesting discussions, pro and con,
about Capra's It's a Wonderful Life.
It's possible that everyone, at some time or other, has thought "what if I had never been born ?
What really might have been different if I had not been there."
NOT talking children that would not be, or marriages that would not have happened or not being the fireman or doctor that saved a life but things that seem minor but perhaps changed the course of someone's life.
This may be too personal a topic and people will be reluctant to post, but stories of "if I had not been there at that particular moment what might have happened ?" can be pretty interesting.
To hopefully start things off :
Mine: Long story short.
Told a lady picking berries, and planning to make jelly from them, that they were POISONOUS nightshade berries.
I guess she believed me since I never saw "Family Wiped Out After Eating Berry Jelly" headlines in the local paper.
any to share ?
If not, the op will just fade into the sunset and oblivion of page 3 - which is probably where it belongs.
