Happy 92nd Birthday Michel Piccoli!!! Born on December 27, 1925 in Paris, France Thanks for everything, so far... French actor and filmmaker of Ticino descent. He has one of the longest careers in french cinema, and is regarded worldwide as a symbol of France's film history, more specifically of the '60s and the 70's. First time credited in movies in 1949. He was born in Paris to a musical family; his mother was a pianist and his father was a violinist. He has appeared in many different roles, from seducer to cop to gangster to Pope, in more than 230 movies and TV productions. With Catherine Deneuve in Bunuel's Belle de jour 1967 With lots of make-up in French CanCan 1954 (it's Michel in the blue uniform) Max et les ferrailleurs 1971 aka Max and the Junkmen (recomended viewing by the way) Habemus Papam 2011 aka We Have a Pope.

Happy Birthday Michel Piccoli!!!
From left to right: Michel Subor, Philippe Noiret (partially hidden), Claude Jade, Michel Piccoli, Alfred Hitchcock & Frederick Stafford. I am sure this is a party for Hitchcock's Topaz (1969). One of the reasons I like Topaz so much is the actors.
