Scott Glenn has accepted broken bones and inner-turmoil ever since he entered the competitive action fold in the early 1970s. He's friends with Keith Carradine, Tom Berenger, Ed Harris, Fred Ward and men as tough as they come. He was set on fire for 'Backdraft' (1991) and hung from the rafters, pulling off one of the most dangerous movie stunts in cinema since Charles Bronson dangled in a live, open lift shaft for 'St. Ives' (1976). He's a man of action ... Interview with Scott Glenn
What's your favourite performance by Scott Glenn?
Thanks!

Good actor. I've watched him over the years in The Right Stuff, Urban Cowboy, The Hunt for Red October, Training Day, etc.
Check out the HBO series The Leftovers. Besides being a really great show, Scott Glenn has a supporting role and steals just about every scene he's in.

Besides being a really great show, Scott Glenn has a supporting role and steals just about every scene he's in. When Zack Snyder, comic book supertitan, took Glenn to be the guru of the 'Sucker Punch' asylum mob, it overdrave Glenn's career to a whole new gamer level! I don't follow tv so much as movies, thanks for the recommendations.

First noticed him in Urban Cowboy and liked him right away.
He has that lean and hungry look that usually makes for interesting parts being given him. I tend to follow character actor's careers and have always enjoyed seeing him, whether he's hero or villain.

I've never seen this legendary tv movie from the golden age of tv horror (the '70s). Need to see it so bad ...

Great character actor, who can play both crooks and good guys. Never judge a person because of his weatherbitten face...

Favorite Scott Glenn role -- as Kevin Costner's older brother in SILVERADO, As astronaut Alan Shepard in THE RIGHT STUFF is a close second.

I love Scott Glenn. Night of the Running Man he plays one suave hitman tracking down Andrew McCarthy who stole a million dollars!
