One of my most favorite albums I guess would be considered a rarity release. This album was released in 1974. 13 years later, the lead guy became the guy that we hear sing lead for the last two #1 songs from the Oak Ridge Boys, I love my late beautiful precious Steve Sanders SO much!!! God bless you and his family always!!! Holly P.S. "Gonna Take A Lot Of River" and "No Matter How High" were their last two #1 songs.

Retro Active is my favorite Def Leppard album. I cannot believe those songs were b-sides.

I was listening to Something For Kate - Phantom limbs the other week. Some great tracks on it; "Submarine", "The Green line is Us, the red line is them" and "You Can't Please everyone, Rockwell".
My favourite would be; Jebediah - glee sides and sparities.
I don't mind Gorillas D-sides either.

Something For Kate is one of our best Rock Bands in my opinion and speaking of Aussie RockbandsI totally forgot about the Jebediah album. That is a good one and I am a big fan of the band and have seen them multiple times in concert and met Kevin Mitchell. Have you heard his solo stuff as Bob Evans? His Bob Evans stuff is my favourite

The mid-90's sure did unearth some great Aussie alternative rock bands. Yeah, I remember my sister actually lent me his debut solo album. And I do have his single "I don't wanna grow anymore" on my mobile's music playlist. Catchy, playful tune. Paul Dempsey also had a couple decent solo albums. A very hypnotic singer.

The first one that showed up in my mind when I saw this thread was Talk Talk - Asides Besides (1998) which showcases the bands impressive transition from the early synth-pop "Duran Duran" days into becoming a whole different animal within a few years of time and some of their B-Sides are stunning and are among my favorite Talk Talk songs. Almost a shame they have not yet re-released their original studio albums along with some of those cuts added as a bonus, but Asides Besides is still a great collection which contains some true gems both when it comes to B-sides and remixes/unreleased material: For what it's worth (1986) It's Getting Late in the Evening (1986)John Cope (1988)
