They should focus on solo movies and stop trying to copy Marvel. Although I do think they can still make a good Superman movie with Cavil. But it should ignore everything that he's been in before. Though I wouldn't mind a recast if they did it. |

I'm undecided on Affleck. I like him as Bruce, but it sounds like he isn't very fond of the role. Who wants a Batman that looks like he wants to slit his wrists while on screen (à la Craig's Bond in Spectre)?

I really think that for Affleck, it's more to do with his directing career than the role itself. He took a big hit with 'Live By Night' bombing and thus, he probably felt anxious about reprising the role of Batman (which he ought to know had an obligation attached to it) while his previous hot streak as a director is shaken up. Had it done fine, he'd probably be more willing to swallow his pride. |

I am glad that they might get another shot at it, but until a formal announcement is made I won't get my hopes up. WB/DC has been throwing 5 movie ideas per week and seeing what sticks to the wall. I have no confidence in any leaks or rumors involving the DCEU. I hope this is true, but I won't hold my breath.
