What? Objectively, yes she has. She has been a lead actress in many films and we all know her name. How many millions have tried to make it in Hollywood and never did? How many thousands of actors and actresses have tried to become stars, but can only get B Movie supporting roles? She has obviously been successful. I will always remember her from Fear. That is still the first movie I think of whenever someone mentions her name. Commercially for a little while, ok, but she won’t go down in history as a great actress who will influence others. Keep trying. Keep trying what? Being right? You have been proven wrong on this thread already. Quit while you are behind. I did not say she would be some great actress that will go down in history. Now you are changing your own argument. You said she was not very successful compared to a large majority of other actors and you are 100% incorrect in that statement. I would say $200 million in earnings is pretty successful compared to a very large majority of actors and actresses today. |

It only took the TC 30 years to get over his Alice Ghostley obsession--that started in 1965. Hopefully his Reese Witherspoon obsession won't last quite that long.

There are a lot of actresses in Hollywood but she’s bit as successful or acclaimed as the ones in th spotlight more, especially since she’s never starred in either a huge blockbuster nor a BP nominated film. Her portrayal of Tracy Flick in Election was some of her best work, Flick was all sugary-sweet on the outside, but slightly deranged/evil on the inside. It was a brilliant comedic performance and should be remembered.
She's very good on Big Little Lies as well, playing an abrasive, forceful woman, you go, girl!

The basis is her resumé. None of her works have anything to be remembered by except as stupid guilty pleasures. Legally Blonde is an idiotic movie and that’s her signature role, unfortunately. |
