Well, I don’t mind the Joel Schumacher Batman movies and I always found them enjoyable to watch after the Michael Keaton movies and even ‘Batman & Robin’ as silly as that was in some parts I think was fun if you don’t take it too seriously and had its fair share of laughs like the Adam West ‘Batman’ TV Show and I thought Alicia Silverstone was very attractive in it which is why I was surprised to hear she was called fat and other names while that movie was being made. I think she was a better choice to play Supergirl and was miscast as Batgirl as I mentioned on one of my other posts to you but in no way did she look anything but beautiful to me in that movie. Uma Thurman was a great choice to play Poison Ivy and I think she might be too old for the role now but I would have cast her again in a Batman movie in the 00s because it was the material they gave her which I believe failed her and if she was given a chance to play a more serious badass Poison Ivy like in the comics I think Uma could have really pulled it off ‘cause that was far from a reflection of her acting and she shut any doubters up when she played the Bride in ‘Kill Bill’ not long after which might surprise you but was originally meant to be a Crow movie.
When ‘Batman Forever’ came out here it was huge and was literally one of the most popular movies of the year and a lot of people I know loved it and even the soundtrack went onto have success with songs like ‘A Kiss From A Rose’ by Seal and ‘Hold Me, Kiss Me, Thrill Me' by U2 which was two of the most played songs on the radio. I thought Chris O'Donnell was good as Dick Grayson/ Robin too and felt they did his backstory justice and it is a shame we didn't get to see him evolve into Nightwing along with Jason Todd who I heard was going to be in the 'Batman: Triumphant' movie but the failure of 'Batman and Robin' seem to largely be put on Robin and stopped us from having any of the other Bat Family characters on screen up until recently with 'Batwoman' and 'Titans' but one thing they didn't stop were the supernatural elements and that appears to have been Christopher Nolan's decision and before 'Batman Begins' went through a number of the Batman Scripts in development had supernatural villains in them including the Batman Horror movie which would have had Man Bat, Clayface and Killer Croc in it and I would love to see that get made now and having Batman face villains like those three and Solomon Grundy who are huge and monstrous would be awesome to see in live action especially Clayface in his huge clay monster form but they need to write them like Horror movie villains and make them scary.
I am hopeful we will get a third 'Fright Night' movie and the movie has gotten a lot of new fans in recent years so I think that could help it get made and it will be interesting to see what they do in a third one and how they explain all the years between the second and third movie since it has been so long since the last one. 'The Lost Boys' sequels weren't very good and we saw the third one for the first time a few years ago and was pretty disappointed in it but some direct to video sequels we have enjoyed and I might be one of the few that really liked 'Children of the Corn 2, 3, 4, 5 and 6' and thought 2, 3 and 4 were even better than the first one. Have you seen any of the 'Re-Animator' movies and did you know they were planning on making another sequel for that around a decade ago with all the original cast returning but sadly money problems prevented it from being made? Was not aware that Kill Bill Vol. 1 were supposed to be a Crow movie, but would be an interesting take, if Tarantino had realized that, back in the day. Yeah, I would not mind seeing Uma back as Poison Ivy, but I guess that is not gonna happen, at least through a live action movie, but then again, seeing how Michael Keaton is back, even for a short cameo, you never know. I sure remember the huge promotion, with the McDonalds toys and action figures, (somehow, I ended up with a McDonalds Joker bicycle toy, and wondered if that meant he would be coming back in the upcoming Batman movie, that summer of 1995) and of course the huge movie posters, of all the big stars and sure, the music videos of U2 and Seal. Speaking of Batman and more scary and horror movie like villains, it would be nice idea, to have a new upcoming animated release, featuring Scarecrow, Killer Croc or Clayface, with a Halloween themed plot, released late in fall. Somehow, the Children of the Corn franchise, never did much for me, but then again, I thought they got a rather poor start, where the first film was not all that "great", and so I can understand why many enjoyed the later films more. I love the first Re-Animator movie, a cult classic, and surely one of the funniest and most well made of the splatter horror comedies of the 80s. The sequel was not bad, but not all that great either, something were missing, even if most of the original cast returned. The third one, I actually liked quite well, fun to see Jeffrey Crombs back in action, and some very crazy scenes and characters. Made me wanting more at the end, and for a while, I was kind of hyped up, for a potential new adventure, bringing back Barbara Crampton and where supposedly William H. Macy were also gonna be having one of the leads, and that Stuart Gordon were back as director and writer. Yeah. I wasn’t aware of it either until I read an article about it a couple of years ago and they wanted to make a ‘Crow’ movie with a female lead which they have had in the comics but the studio refused to take a chance on one at the time so they ended up making ‘The Crow: Salvation’ instead and what was meant to be the script for the female lead ‘Crow’ movie was rewritten and changed into ‘Kill Bill’ and I have heard about similar things happening with other scripts for movies and there were a lot of separate movies that got reworked into sequels like ‘American Psycho 2: All American Girl’, ‘Children of the Corn 7’ and ‘Hellraiser: Inferno’ and the studios decided ‘cause they thought they were similar they could make more money on them if they made them parts of existing franchises and get people who liked the other movies to watch them and that is most likely what happened with some of those ‘Silent Night, Deadly Night’ movies we talked about.
Uma Thurman could have been a good Poison Ivy but I think they will want a younger Actress for the role now and one fan favourite has been Jessica Chastain for a while and I think she could be good as Poison Ivy and another one is Scarlett Johansson who some people are saying could be moving to DC movies since she is currently suing Disney over ‘Black Widow.’ With Michael Keaton coming back the chances of us seeing other Actors from previous DC movies return in the same roles is more possible than ever before but I am not going to get my hopes up too high ‘cause I don’t think they will get too many back but aside from Michelle Pfieffer playing Catwoman again imagine if Jack Nicholson played an older version or Joker or Danny DeVito played a more comic accurate Penguin. That would be fun to see even if it was just for a small scene and I wouldn’t mind seeing Jim Carrey as the Riddler again ‘cause like Uma I think he might be able to do a far more serious version of the character if they gave him the chance and did you know Robin Williams wanted to play the Riddler?
I remember a lot of the promotional things they had for the Batman movies here in Australia too like the McDonalds Batman toys that were in the ‘Happy Meals’ and speaking about the Joker and being misled having him in U2’s music video was strange but to be fair to the band I don’t think they knew who the villains were going to be in the movie when they made the video. We finally go to see 'The Long Halloween Part 1' by the way and we thought it was okay and it wasn't the best animated 'Batman' movie as you were saying but definitely not the worst and I am looking forward to seeing Part 2 'cause I think it might be even better. Speaking about the animated movies I thought 'Batman: Death in the Family' was the most disappointing of all the animated movies I have seen and I liked how they added a feature that let you choose different endings for the movie but the movie strangely felt more like a motion graphic novel than an animated movie and you didn't really get to see most of the things happen and I am not a fan of that type of animated movie.![](https://i.postimg.cc/yxtbfjjf/sylveon-icon-by-acidkitty3-d618155.gif)

Yeah. It is a pretty good movie and a lot of people are still discovering it now the first time and are enjoying it and you might have to get it on DVD to see it and I just looked into it on Amazon and found it in this four movie set (below) for only $9.99 and it comes with 'The Blob', 'Christine' and 'The Seventh Sign' which is a good deal. I didn't think the remakes/reboots were as bad as some other Horror remakes like 'A Nightmare On Elm Street' and 'April Fool's Day' but they weren't as good as the original and would recommend people watch that more. I think different companies must have something to do with the second one being hard to get 'cause it was very easy to get the first one here and is at JBHIFI. I am hoping the third movie still goes through and the pandemic hasn't stopped it but it seems like a lot of movies that were said to be in the works have come to a complete halt since then like 'Spawn' and 'Razor' which I was looking forward to seeing and are there any you are waiting for that have been delayed? We got Disney + by the way and have been watching Season 6 of 'Marvel's Agents of SHIELD' on it and I am surprised by how many movies and shows are on it and we are going to watch 'Wanda Vision' after Season 6 and 7 of 'Marvel's Agents of SHIELD.' ![](https://i.postimg.cc/Qx9TxjdF/furret-by-creepyjellyfish-d7a49mo.gif)
www.amazon.com/Blob-Christine-Fright-Night-Seventh/dp/B00C2CDJ34/ref=sr_1_9?dchild=1&keywords=fright+night&qid=1627458717&s=movies-tv&sr=1-9 That DVD pack does look like a good deal, and I haven't seen The Seventh Sign but I liked Christine and The Blob. Indiana Jones 5 is one movie I have been waiting but has been pushed back quite some time and even though I don't care for the idea of Harrison Ford in his late 70s/early 80s playing Indy again, I am still curious to see what they do. I hope you enjoy watching WandaVision and the other Marvel shows too. Yeah. It is a good deal and you would be surprised how many great Horror movie sets and boxes we have got like that on Amazon over the years for cheap prices and it is an easy way to get Horror movies you want even when there are a couple on there you don't like and we got two collections that had 20 Horror movies in them and were only $9.99 and most of them were lesser known movies but there were a few well known ones mixed in them which i think is a good way of getting people to buy them and check some of the others out too and did you get most Horror movie franchises you own separately on DVD or Blu Ray or in box sets? My only problem with some of them is they pile all the DVDs on top of each other inside the box which is an easy way to get them scratched or they put them on Dual Discs and have you heard of Dual Discs? They are DVDs that have movies or TV Shows on both sides and 'cause of that you have to be real careful not to get marks on one side and we have got some at the shops that already had finger marks and smudges on them and we tried cleaning them so they would work but it was no use. Thanks for answering my question and I am really enjoying Season 6 of 'Marvel's Agents of SHIELD' so far and I am curious when the 'Obi Wan' show will be put on Disney + 'cause we are really looking forward to seeing that and it is one of the main reasons we got Disney + and I am very curious what other characters will be in it and do you think Darth Vader, the Emperor, Yoda or the Huts will appear?
