Always enjoyed that movie, and was very glad when it finally were put out on a Criterion release back in 2009. Picked it up, right away. The score by Ennio Morricone is also quite underrated, or so I feel.

Mortal Kombat (2021). For a second there, I thought it was Big Trouble in Little China. Anyway, I have not seen this new version of Mortal Kombat. Compared to the original movie (if you have seen it?) is it an upgrade or the other way around?

The score by Ennio Morricone is also quite underrated, or so I feel. I liked the movie, but I was a bit confused about Burl Ives's quick 180 turnaround. He was quite adamant about not wanting to be involved with this dog, it viciously attacked one of his workers on its way out, but then he was totally ok with business partner Paul Winfield taking this project on, even while likely putting other jobs on hold? The jab at Star Wars was funny.

Nino Manfredi and Senta Berger in The Treasure of San Gennaro aka Operazione San Gennaro 1966, the movie was in color so this might be a publicity pic. It's a lighthearted caper movie, involving an American (Harry Guardino) and incompetent Napoletano cohorts.
