I wonder if even that, could put him in a good mood! It's the kind of movie that might have sounded great on paper, sadly it's one of Tommy's worst, hampered storyline, feels like they tried to save it on the editing bord.

I watched that about a week ago, found it on dvd at an op shop for a buck. Saw it when I was a kid. Not the best shot of Harris, or perhap's Harris's  Yikes. I hadn't noticed Harris's in the photo. Have replaced image.

Clara Bow hustling a hustler in The Saturday Night Kid.(1929) Clara Bow was such a darling one wished she would have made into the sound age... She did, this was a talky. You can catch it on YT. It's a bit corny but Clara's cuteness carries it. It's also Jean Harlow's 1st movie in a very small role, I think she had 1 line.

WHOOPS ! Someone forgot to put on underwear - oh my and the lady on the far right also   .
I guess the really hot climate can make people want to set it all free right ?

IMPO - Also from what you described here
but no doubt WS would be way better of course  .
The LIFETIME cable channels also seems to
" recycle storylines " from other films from way back as well .
