Sphinx (1981) Love this film. Wish it would receive bluray treatment one day soon. That and the Awakening with Charlton Heston. Both really fun Ancient Egyptian themed stories. I still have the movie tie in edition of the Sphinx. What did you think? It should look good in blu, if it gets an upgrade. The film had great scope, especially with its location shooting. And Leslie Ann Down was solid. However the story didn’t do much for me, and it felt a touch padded in spots.

Star Crash (1978) That is actually a real fun and sexy space opera b-movie movie. Campy as hell, but as mentioned, lots of fun and Caroline Munro is such a babe, also love the evil villainous character of Joe Spinell as well, wore that cape like a true champ. Might have to dig it up one of these days, as I really enjoyed these Roger Corman Cult Classics releases, which were put out during 2010-12, and where the sci-fi titles of the late 70s and early 80s, were those I enjoyed the most. Some way more, than far bigger and famous similar themed sci-fi adventures done in the same period. Anyway, Munro and Spinell would later on team up in the cult-classic that is Maniac (1980), and the rather underrated "sequel" The Last Horror Film (1982). Still, Munro, what a talent, she had the looks, the attitude and the brains, another bonus, she were not that bad of singer, where her disco-themed song, showcases exactly that:

Nightbreed Have you seen the extended or director's cut of this film? I have still yet to do so, but remember it was released a while back on Blu-ray. Anyway, a good one, and where David Cronenberg sure creeps the hell out of me, and was way more disturing or chilling, than any of the creatures in the film.

The Expendables 3 (Unrated Edition) I doubt I have seen the Unrated edition. Is there a big difference between the original cut, and this one? Probably not enough, so that I would go out and double-dip a film, which I ended up throwing in the garbage, after watching it the first time, though.

Nothing big though. Just some extended scenes. There is a site called www.movie-censorship.com/ that shows differences between different cuts. www.movie-censorship.com/report.php?ID=626620

One of those movies I've heard about, but never seen myself before. John Wayne in Hondo 1953. Watched the "flat" version, not in 3-D, but there was an intermission It's been years, but there was a promotion thru the Kroger grocery stores and one of the network channels where it was broadcasted in 3-D. You could pick up your "Hondo" 3-D glasses at the grocery store. It was a lot of fun, my Mom invited some of the neighbor kids over and we had popcorn and some other treats at the house. Okay, I just looked it up, and it was in June, 1991.
