The Sound Barrier (1952) I've always thought that that was an underrated film.

Money PlaneAlways been a fan of Kelsey Grammar, but I have kind of decided to skip/stay away of this film, as I remember pretty much, every article/review I stumbled upon, seeemed hellbent on pushing this film out, as one of the absolute worst releases, in recent times. Not sure if that is deserved, or not. Just out of curiosity. Do you share those bad views of the film, or is it not all that horrible?

Its such a dumb movie but it a film you can get some entertainment out of. But still its flawed as hell.

Its such a dumb movie but it a film you can get some entertainment out of. But still its flawed as hell. I was almost tempted to give in, a purchase the DVD, a while back. But then remembering all the hateful reviews, I guess I decided to leave it be, but yeah, I kind of hoped the cheese factor would be something of worth, if I should re-consider checking upon it, some day. Very few films, in which "everyone" labels the "worst movie", really or often comes off as being exactly that, or even close. Or so I often have a tendacy to find out for myself, later on. So, yeah, maybe 4/10 sounds not that far off.

The Sound Barrier (1952) I've always thought that that was an underrated film. It’s quite well done, the aerial shots are beautiful. Lean is in fine form here.
