Jason Alexander and Fisher Stevens in The BurningOne of the most enjoyable, brutal and fun releases of the whole 80s slasher era. Certainly one of my favorites, and I am surely gonna give it another re-watch, this summer. Incredible how long it took, until the unrated/uncut version, finally arrived on DVD. I Believe it was back in 2006 or 07. However, in Norway, we had to wait until 10 years later, before it got a DVD/Blu-ray release here, and I sure as hell had to pick it up, once more.

Shocker Saw it a few weeks ago, and as much as I wanted to love it, something just did not click with me on the first view. Compared to The Horror Show aka House III (1989), which featured a similar killer in Brion James, haunting poor Lance Henriksen, I felt Shocker lacked a bit of that extra fun, but one that might do with a re-watch in the future.
