I bought the first two seasons of the 1990s documentary series The New Detectives, which aired on the Discovery Channel before that channel sucked.
Bought a DVD with Formula of Love (1984), a TV-movie from the former Soviet Union.
CD:
Bought the KISS album Lick It Up.
Other:
I recently purchased a bunch of old Australian TV magazines from the 1960s, including some from Brisbane and Tasmania. Will prove useful for my vintage TV schedule thread on the 1960s TV board.....

I've been tempted to get Skull Island, myself..... even though everything I've heard isn't all that great.
I'm just hoping for a reasonably fun flick with Kong stomping & pulverizing his chump human victims. And maybe battling another giant monster or two.

Lick It Up is a good album.

I'm just glad the soundtrack is finally seeing a cd release My friend just bought the dvd and she had a new cover with a spinach can on it. if they ever put this on blu-ray they need to use that cover.  - that is the cover my dvd has She has this Awesome Spinach can cover  ![]() I'm just glad she was willing to trade me covers lol |

Nice array of films there! 'Car Wash' is a lot of fun.... 'Logan's Run' was a childhood favorite... & 'The Other Hell' is an excellent slice of exploi-cheese. I don't think I've seen 'Malibu High' yet, but I know I've got a couple of copies of it on those cheapie Mill Creek boxsets. I've had 'The Hunting Party' on my radar. The price has dropped a bit so now might be a good time. |

I watched "Kong: Skull Island" last week. It's a decent enough, fun flick if all you really want is to see Kong pulverize various unlucky chumps and fight with other big monsters. The script isn't all that hot, and it features a couple of stock characters. Gorgeous location shooting in Hawaii.
