Mewzik Simple Minds _ Empires and DanceHaircut 100 _ Pelican West (Deluxe Edition) Mewvees The Holcroft Covenant (1985) [Blu-Ray] Cuba (1979) [Blu-Ray] Gator (1976) [ DVD ] The Quatermass Xperiment (1955) [Blu-Ray] Five Miles to Midnight (1962) [Blu-Ray] It (1990) [Blu-Ray]
I still haven't checked out my copies of "The Holcroft Covenant" or 'It'. I am curious about this new theatrical adaptation of 'It'. Hopefully it's good.
In terms of bonus material, the KL Studio Classics Blu for "The Quatermass Xperiment" is one of the most stacked that they've released.
I watched 'It' a couple nights back. It's a tad bit better looking than the dvd, but no new supplements, I'm afraid. Just a commentary track. For whatever reason, I've never seen 'The Quatermass Xperiment' before; so that should be a treat.

wasn't this "before the storm"? LOL Yep. Right before it was released in the States it was bootlegged and shared online so her label had her rerecord it into "Before the Storm". I was just thinking the other day that maybe she should have released it in the U.S. before Japan.

We may not be talking about the same "Heaven & Earth". The one I bought is a 1993 film by Oliver Stone.

Wrekmeister Harmonies - Light Falls I'm gonna give them a listen, based on their name alone.

Some good jazz pick-ups. I listened to a couple of Skyphone clips on youtube..... rather nice, they were.

Nice haul. Are you gonna pick up 'Willard' as well, to go along with 'Ben'? I've got both of those on my wish list. I've got the single dvd disc editions of Blood Mania and Point of Terror. Haven't seen either one yet. Williams score for 'Jaws' is ace!

Wrekmeister Harmonies - Light Falls I'm gonna give them a listen, based on their name alone. I'm listening to it now, as it happens. I didn't really pay that much attention on first listen, I was more impressed that Nick Blinko did the artwork than anything else. They get tagged as drone metal, but I'd really say they're more like slow post-rock with a hint of metal occasionally, and folk/experimental inclinations.

Thanks. I already have "Willard". Got it a couple of weeks ago.
I haven't seen either "Blood Mania" or "Point of Terror" in quite some time.
Williams is one of the most incredible film composers of all time, to have come up with so many iconic and recognizable scores.

That's probably more-or-less what I imagined based on the name and the very brief bit I read about them.
