You are so full of crap. YOU are the one with a poor attitude. You said that Philly is one and done and I called you on it. That is it. I would go as far as to say I would be shocked if they lose their first playoff game. This discussion will be hilarious after next Saturday when the Eagles win. @screamingtreefrogs Hey, buddy, see what I was saying about this guy's attitude? ^^^ Case in point. He was "nice" enough to fully demonstrate it and confirm what I just told you. Keep telling yourself that.

we're passionate crazy fans even if it's a bad look at times - what can i say birds fan floors giants fan shooting his mouth off and embarrasses him in front of his girlfriend What can you say? You could say that this is wrong. Rooting for a different team is no reason to justify being violently assaulted. This is thuggish behavior, and if this is what you are proud of, *I* don't know what to say! It's OK to passionately root for your team. It is not to OK to punch and knock-out the supporters of other teams. What this Eagles fan needs is to be arrested and charged with felony assault. I remember an episode I witnessed when I once took my young son to the Falcon's stadium. It was a Panthers at Falcons game. There was a guy there, peacefully rooting for the Panthers, dressed in Panther's gear, not saying anything provocative, just cheering and applauding when they had a good play. A drunken Falcons fan started to harass and threaten him. The situation was about to turn into spontaneous assault, with the belligerent and obnoxious Falcons' fan doing all the action, while the Panthers fan tried to be quiet and ignore him. You know what happened? I didn't do anything because I was more concerned with my young son's safety, trying to shield him from whatever bad shit was about to happen. But other Falcons' fans yelled at the guy to stop, and since he didn't, went out and summoned event staff security, and the drunken bully was thrown out. Then the other Falcons' fans apologized to the Panthers' fan, saying "We are sorry for his behavior, sir. We are rivals, but you paid your ticket and have the right to be here; feel free to support your team." That's class. The Giants fan was the instigator and shooting his mouth off. Always a better look to be the better man and turn the other cheek and just walk away. But sometimes in life - enough is enough and it's time to take action

I feel it is wrong to use violence against anyone unless it is absolutely necessary. I am also a very big guy. I feel that I could actually hurt someone, but I do not. I am VERY passionate about my Philly teams, but I would never physically assault someone over it. It is never okay. Now of course, if you have to defend yourself or your family, that is a different story.

I fully intend on being a gracious winner and good sport when the Birds win their first game Like I said, I have nothing against the Eagles. I'll root for them if the Falcons get eliminated by the Rams, before having to face the Eagles. Of course I'll not root for them if they are the Falcons' opponents; that's natural. My prediction that the Eagles will be one-and-done or at best two-and-done stems from my analysis of what I've been seeing before and after Wentz' injury. It's not malicious; it's not to provoke or tease or troll anyone. It's just what I believe will happen, frankly. Maybe I'm wrong and if the facts prove me wrong, I'll graciously admit that I was mistaken. And I have nothing against your attitude either. You're trying to be optimistic, you support your team, you are focusing on the motivation factor. While doing so, you are not arrogant or offensive. All good. Christian-Flickinger's attitude, however, is irritating, so, like a normal human being, I'll experience some pleasure if he is proven wrong. Just what you just said, as compared to what he just said, shows a huge attitude difference: yours, nice and good. His, not so much. (Clarification, before this whole mess starts again - I'm saying this, as a regular IMDBv2 Sports member, not as a moderator. As far as moderation goes, Christian-Flickinger is entitled to his opinion and having one is not a ToS violation, so this has nothing to do with moderation. But I'm entitled to *my* personal opinion of his attitude). Well this conflict just got a lot more interesting! Not only are bragging rights regarding this thread and the contention in general that the Eagles are going one-and-done at stake, but your teams are directly going head to head in the process! This'll be great! This multiples the inevitable crow-eating by either party many times. And yes I'm involved in that too since I've been banging the "Eagles are doomed" drum for weeks, and I remain confident in that. But it's even MORE fun now!

If we win - and I expect that we will - I'll bump his "dense" and "ridiculous" statements to death!

I am happy we are facing the Falcons. I am not going to guarantee a win, because any given Sunday and all, but I would be shocked if the Eagles lost. They are just the better team in every way except QB, where I expect Foles to play much better.

Vikings would be the first team to play in the Super Bowl at their home stadium, which means they will probably falter trying to make that happen.
With the AFC designated as the "home" team, would the Vikings be kicked out of their locker room and forced to use the visitors locker room? Could they use their stadium 3rd down horn?
Vikings fans would have access to 22.5% of Super Bowl tickets, but would buy lots more on the secondary market. One sportsbook thinks the Vikings would be favored against every AFC opponent.

I still think if the Patriots get there, they will be favored against any NFC team. They are the Patriots.

But the Eagles were clearly the better team and would have won if only they had taken advantage of their opportunities. It is hilarious to me that people gave the Eagles no chance when they would have won if they did not keep shooting themselves in the foot. Sure, Nick Foles did not complete a pass, but he still played well. The Eagles are the best team in the NFC East and came one win away from another NFC title game, that is more than any other NFC East team can say. I love being a Philly fan."

Oh, and he will also add, "And by the way, the Rams play in a small stadium, and the Eagles have locked the home field advantage throughout the playoffs *including the Super Bowl.* Matt Ryan doesn't win on the road except when he does. The Eagles haven't lost at home except that they did last week and this week, and these were meaningless games - oh wait! And *home field* advantage has to do with the roster of players." And that, for you, guys, is the poster who accuses others of being "dense." Unreal!

Any given Sunday means the Browns can beat the Patriots, but they probably won't. I am actually expecting the Eagles to beat the Falcons pretty handedly. Also, the Eagles lost one game at home all year and it was a meaningless game where none of their starters played after halftime. Matt Ryan has a history of playing horrible on the road. The only one dense here is you. Anyone with a brain knows these things, but you try to dodge them because you are a moron. I imagine you will disappear for a long time after this weekend and this board will be better for it.

The only one dense here is you. Anyone with a brain knows these things, but you try to dodge them because you are a moron. I imagine you will disappear for a long time after this weekend and this board will be better for it. Anyone with a brain knows these things? Why are all people placing the Falcons as favorites, including Las Vegas, ESPN, PickCenter, and all the talk shows? Not to forget the majority of voters in the prediction thread here (14 votes for the Falcons, 4 for the Eagles - of which, two are yours and Frogs', of course)? So all these people (including many specialists and bookmakers) are brainless zombies, and the only smart guy here is Christian-Flickinger, the same guy who thinks that the Rams stadium is small (LOL, it's the largest), that the Eagles have locked home field advantage *including in the Super Bowl* (which won't be played in Philly), and that HOME FIELD advantage has to do with the roster of players? That's the genius who is so smart that he thinks everybody else is brainless and dense and a moron? (By the way, personal attacks are the hallmark of a losing argument). The Eagles lost one game at home all year - dear, sorry to break the news to you, but other than the two *very bad* teams they beat after Wentz went down, all those other games were won by the Wentz's Eagles, not by the Foles' Eagles. Yes, Matt Ryan plays horribly (that's the word you want, not "horrible" like you said) on the road, which is why he won 6 games on the road this season already, including in Seattle, which is a much louder environment than Philadelphia, and including a playoff game already against one of the hottest teams in the league, right? Sorry to burst your bubble of wishful thinking, but no, I won't disappear. And if I did, the board wouldn't be better for it, in general. It would only be better for you, in terms of a safe space for your delicate complexion. Still, other members here would still mock you, so don't count on too much of a safe space.

I've been worried all week about the Saints. Vikings fans know heartbreak. We're scared of it. But I'm coming around. I'm starting to believe. I think we have the edge, NOT because we have the best defense in the NFL, but because of Keenum. The man has ice water in his veins. He's calm as fuck. I don't want to set myself up, but i really think we got this. Calm as fuck (is fuck calm?) when he is not playing a playoff, win-or-go-home game, unlike the hugely experienced Drew Brees, so, we'll see. Me, even though I hate them, I think the Saints will win.

Thanks for putting that in writing John. I will be happy to bump your post on Sunday night so everyone can see that you don't know shit. Whoa! Why so aggressive? I'll be happy if I'm wrong, since I have a lot more sympathy for the Vikings than the Saints. I just expressed an opinion, of something I think will happen; not something I want to happen. I'll be rooting for the Vikings. Did you see what happened to Goff? Or to Cam Newton in 2015? It's not easy for these young QBs, the first time they are under the spotlight. So what I expressed is a fear or concern that this will happen to Keenum, not the desire that it will happen to him. Maybe I didn't phrase it right, but the "even though I hate them" should have been a hint. By the way, if being wrong about a playoff pick (that doesn't even involve one's team) is proof of "not knowing shit" then according to you, the same should apply to yourself, who picked the Rams to beat the Falcons, right? At least, the Wild Card weekend I finished 3-1 in my predictions, while you finished 2-2. But that's according to you. I wouldn't say so. I won't accuse you of not knowing shit because you picked wrongly the Falcons at Rams game. I'll just say, the NFL is unpredictable and these are all good teams, so, it's OK for you to have been wrong. Just like it will be OK for me if I'm wrong about the Saints at Vikings game.
