Don't take it personally John, it wasn't meant like that. It's playoff time and just trash talk. A person can't be thin skinned this time of year. i dig your style mars. you're an emotional fan like me - but mean no harm. good luck to your vikes. but i'm thinking you like me - our teams would like to see each other in the NFC playoffs. may the best team win. i'm thinking we'd smoke you Hell no the Vikings don't want to see the Eagles. I would rather stay home at US Bank Stadium. You still have the same team, just minus Wentz. He isn't the whole reason the Eagles are the #1 seed. Foles could get hot and all these fans that are taking the Eagles for granted just might be disappointed. Smoke the Vikings? No way. Foles will be running around like a chicken with his head cut off while Harrison Smith and Xavier Rhodes break your heart with INT's left and right. Meanwhile the O will be driving the ball down your throat. If the Vikings and the Eagles meet you better buy an extra 30 pack so you can drown your sorrows while wiping away your tears.

All I am going to say is that it was a very good game. I was actually surprised by Atlanta and how physical they were. Philly usually out-physicals (if that is a word) every team they play, win or lose, but Atlanta was right there trading punches in the trenches the entire game. I will admit, after that 4th and 6 conversion on the last drive, I thought we were toast. I was ready to drink myself to sleep that night. Luckily the defense held up. Great game.

That's very gracious of you. You easily could have roasted John and I and we would have fully deserved all of it. You were right and I was very wrong.

As the game got closer I started getting very nervous. As a Philly fan, all I know is heartbreak so I was beginning to think I was way wrong before the game started. Luckily they pulled through in a close one. Honestly, I was being very defensive this past week because EVERYONE I knew was giving me crap and saying the Eagles had no chance. It caused me to double down and I was kind of an ass. I apologize.

It caused me to double down and I was kind of an ass. I apologize. Not at all, and I hope you didn't take my baiting too personally, I was just having fun. I'm not a Falcons fan but I too was getting nervous in that game. I knew that Philly had a great defense, and they were excellent, but I was very surprised by just how good the Eagles' O-line was. For the most part the Falcons couldn't get near Foles. I couldn't believe that Foles throw which deflected off of Neal's knee only to be caught by Torrey Smith. Eagles/Vikings is a tough call. Obviously both teams are riding high on confidence. I feel like the Vikings are even higher though after that miracle ending last game. Weigh that against Philly's home field advantage, and it's tough. I like the Shurmur's offense vs Schwartz's defense angle. It'll be a great game. As a neutral though I think it'll be more interesting for Minnesota to win as the fanbase has suffered more than Philly's and they'd get to have a home Super Bowl.
