Jurassic Park : The Lost World. Utterly idiotic movie, barely a minute goes by without something ridiculously stupid happening.
Speed 2 : Cruise Control. Ugh. Just no.
Jack Reacher : Never Go Back. The first one was an entertaining action movie. The second one came across like a direct to DVD action movie.
Blues Brothers 2000. Holy crap, this is just awful. Some good songs, but the story around it is just... wow.

I'm going to avoid listing sequels that while they're disappointing, they least have some watchable moments (like Godfather 3, Rocky V, the later Alien sequels, etc.)
My list of terrible sequels that don't have any redeeming qualities:
Exorcist II Robocop 3 A Good Day to Die Hard An American Werewolf in Paris Blues Brothers 2000 Speed 2 Terminator Salvation Batman and Robin Superman IV Highlander 2 The Next Karate Kid (KK3 was terrible too, but at least it was so bad, it was funny to watch) The Mummy - Tomb of the Dragon Emperor Those Pink Panther sequels/spin-offs they made after Peter Sellers died Poltergeist III

That haven't yet been mentioned...
Indiana Jones & The Temple Of Doom All the Saw sequels Matrix Reloaded & Revolutions Attack Of The Clones & Revenge Of The Sith (if prequels count Phantom Menace as well)

I'll keep it to movies that I flat out hate.
Scary Movie V Garfield: A Tale of Two Kitties Exorcist II: The Heretic The Exorcist III (A Fabio cameo? Really?) Jaws: The Revenge Jaws: 3D Ride Along 2 The Smurfs 2 Independence Day: Resurgence Hellraiser II Hellraiser III Friday the 13th: Part II Jason X The Hills Have Eyes Part II (wes Craven) Fantastic 4: Rise of the Silver Surfer Diamonds Are Forever Alien vs. Predator: Requiem Blues Brothers 2000 The Rage: Carrie 2 Leatherface (2017) Texas Chainsaw 3D Grown Ups 2 The Legend of Zorro Superman III Superman IV: The Quest for Peace Piranha 3DD Nutty Professor II: The Klumps Now You See Me 2 Mortal Kombat: Annihilation Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles: Out of the Shadows Transformers: Revenge of the Fallen Transformers: Dark of the Moon Transformers: The Last Knight G.I. Joe: Retaliation Van Wilder: The Rise of Taj Taken 3 Transporter 2 Transporter 3 Spy Kids 3-D: Game Over Curse of Chucky Halloween: The Curse of Michael Myers Halloween: Resurrection Book of Shadows: Blair Witch 2 Anacondas: The Hunt for the Blood Orchid
Some of the more famously hated sequels I don't hate, such as Speed 2, Batman & Robin, A Good Day to Die Hard, Highlander 2 etc. They are bad but I don't hate them. I have only seen the Director's Cut of Highlander 2 though.

a few that have yet to be mentioned, sequels which should never have seen the light of day.
Psycho 2 beyond the poseidon adventure battle royale II
out of all the movies previously mentioned on this thread, in my opinion, Speed 2 wins the title as worst sequel ever.

Hellraiser: Revelations is one no one mentioned yet.
As for the others, I'd say:
Batman & Robin Seed of Chucky Texas Chainsaw Massacre: The Next Generation Jaws: The Revenge I'll Always Know What You Did Last Summer Jason X

The most jaw-dropping worst in quality change were
Creepshow 2
The Legend of Zorro-----Banderas looked old, the humor was weird, totally different in spirit from the first. A mess.
The SW prequels, if you count them as continuations.

Some good songs, but the story around it is just... wow. I rewatched all of them a few years ago just before the release of the reboot. I didn't remember disliking part two, but man did I hate it this time around. I remember being shocked that part three was historically seen as the worst in the trilogy, because after re-watching the second one I felt exactly the same way about it is you do.

Home Alone 5: The Holiday Heist (1/10) Home Alone 4 (1/10) Speed 2: Cruise Control (1/10) Transformers: Revenge of the Fallen (2/10) Scooby-Doo 2: Monsters Unleashed (2/10, even though I must admit I used to watch it a lot as a kid) Garfield: A Tail of Two Kitties (2/10) Transformers: Age of Extinction (3/10) Transformers: Dark of the Moon (3/10) The Princess Diaries 2: Royal Engagement (3/10)
A few other ones are the Twilight sequels and the terrible Scary Movie sequels (I haven't seen Scary Movie 3 in a long time, but that's the only one of the sequels that kinda maybe enjoyed a little bit).
