Oh, I completely forgot about Alien Vs Predator: Requiem, The Legend of Zorro and Independence Day: Resurgence!
Those were some major crapfests with none of the good qualities of their predecessors.
EDIT* - Return of Jafar is another good choice. Even at age 10, I thought it felt like a cheap retread of Aladdin; only Iago turns good!.

Some I will say are
Halloween Resurrection Jason Goes to Hell A Nightmare On Elm Street 6 The Pact 2 The Lawnmower Man 2 Time Cop 2 Species 4 Cube 3 The Gingerdead Man 2 The Gingerdead Man 3 Wild Things 2 Night of the Living Dead 3D Return of the Living Dead 4 and 5 Book of Shadows: Blair Witch 2 Children of the Corn 7: Revelations Hellraiser (Every movie after 4 except for Hellseeker) Die Hard 5: A Good Day to Die Hard Candy Man 3 Blade Trinity Texas Chainsaw Massacre 4: The Next Generation Troll 2 The Birds 2 The Howling 4 Rings Aliens vs. Predator: Requiem Creepshow III Cyborg 3 The Prophecy 4 and 5 Prom Night 4 Wishmaster 4 A Return to Salem’s Lot From Dusk Till Dawn 3 Leprechaun In the Hood Phantasm 5: Ravager I Will Always Know What You Did Last Summer Legally Blondes Predators Son of the Mask
There are a lot of others too but those are some that come to mind.
Didn't read this all... But given the nature of the thread...you seem to be implying that "The Gingerdead Man" was good and two subsequent the sequels were disappointing. I find this hard to believe.

Jurassic Park : The Lost World. Utterly idiotic movie, barely a minute goes by without something ridiculously stupid happening. Speed 2 : Cruise Control. Ugh. Just no. Jack Reacher : Never Go Back. The first one was an entertaining action movie. The second one came across like a direct to DVD action movie. Blues Brothers 2000. Holy crap, this is just awful. Some good songs, but the story around it is just... wow. I rewatched all of them a few years ago just before the release of the reboot. I didn't remember disliking part two, but man did I hate it this time around. I remember being shocked that part three was historically seen as the worst in the trilogy, because after re-watching the second one I felt exactly the same way about it is you do. The worst thing about it is how hard it engages in the "designated hero/villain" thing. The bad guys of the movie do essentially nothing wrong - they literally go to an island that they own, to collect animals that they own, and put them into a zoo. But because they are capitalists, this perfectly reasonable course of action is treated by the movie as evil by default. Meanwhile the heroes openly act illegally or just plain mess up, over and over again, frequently causing the deaths of other people. Yet because they are designated good guys, there is never any recognition of this, and none of them express the slightest guilt over it. I mean, the Dino woman, Sarah? She lectures everyone on not interfering with the animals when they meet her. Not two minutes later she walks up to a dinosaur nest and starts petting the infants! In real life many parents would reject or even eat their own young if they found another smell on them; she doesn't seem to know or care about this. She does distress the infants, causing the adults to attack and very nearly getting people killed as a result. Does anybody blame her? They do not. The heroes sabotage he evil capitalists camp. Massive property damage results, along with who knows what deaths or injuries. Does anybody blame them? They do not. Later on Sarah insists on rescuing the infant T-Rex, an action which leads to one of her team being ripped in half by the adult T-Rexes. And even though she is the one who lectures everyone about how great the T-Rex sense of smell is, she wipes the infant's blood over her jacket and goes on a hike. At least two or three more people are subsequently killed because of this! Does anybody blame her? They do not. And throughout all of this, the heroes - and the movie - act as though everything is the evil capitalist's fault for daring to set foot on their own island! When all the time it's the heroes who are causing all the death and destruction! Malcolm constantly acts as though it was completely inevitable that the Dinos would run rampant over the humans... when the Capitalist guys were doing just fine, with a plan that was working perfectly well - until the heroes stepped in and screwed it all up! On purpose! And that's just a tiny fraction of what's wrong with that movie. I could go on and on and on about it, I really could. It's just that bad!

Highlander II: The Quickening probably ranks as the biggest disappointment to me. My best friend and I both loved the original. I later won two tickets for part 2 in a radio contest. So my friend and I went to the premiere. I was stunned because it seemed to have little connection to the original. After it was over we both looked at each other and agreed that we were just glad we didn't have to pay for that garbage. I found this on the wiki page.
"The original theatrical edition is considered one of the worst films ever released."

I didn't mind the first movie. It was far from being a masterpiece but it was enjoyable and a lot of my friends who are Horror fans enjoyed the first movie but didn't like the sequels. I am a big fan of Charles Band's earlier series like the 'Puppet Master', 'Subspecies', 'Trancers', 'Demonic Toys' and 'Dolls' movies but 'Killjoy' and 'The Evil Bong' are two of the worst movies I have ever seen and they have multiple sequels.

"The original theatrical edition is considered one of the worst films ever released." I didn't know that but that is pretty bad when that is written on there. Although it is worth noting Wikipedia can be edited by anyone and I have been looking at Historical pages only to find the words "fuck", 'Bitch", "cock" and "cunt" and "Jason Rules." What did you think of 'Highlander 3, 4 and 5' and the TV series? The fourth movie had the main characters from the movies and the TV series and connected them together.

A few other ones are the Twilight sequels and the terrible Scary Movie sequels (I haven't seen Scary Movie 3 in a long time, but that's the only one of the sequels that kinda maybe enjoyed a little bit). Yeah. I totally forgot about the 'Scary Movie' sequels. They are awful and I am surprised there have been so many of them. I never saw the 'Twilight' movies but I know a lot of people don't like them.

Leaving out the horror entries (4-?...come on "Hellraiser" get with it!) because of the sheer amount of them.
Here are my notable entries:
"Blues Brothers 2000" - it was...castrated and neutered...John Goodman was a good replacement, but unfortunately this was a dud
"Robocop 3" - Almost aggressively terrible
"Terminator: Salvation" - I love this universe, I always dig Christian Bale, yet I fell asleep the first 3 times I tried to watch this movie.
-"Alien: Resurrection" - Seen "Alien 3" mentioned a few times (me and the other handful of people who liked it have a support group). While it is far from the worst movie I've seen, "Alien: Resurrection" was the most bummed out I've ever been coming out of a movie. "Crystal Skull" was close. They just botched it. Not the production, but the vibe. The humor came off like jokes at a funeral. I liked Brad Dourif though, he gets a pass.

I don't completely agree about the villains, but overall I agree about most of the characters and how they are written. It is not a well-written movie at all. I am shocked that there are people out there who still think this is better than the third movie. I mean, I get it when it first came out. Spielberg was still involved in some capacity and I think there was probably some nostalgia going on. But how anyone can watch a movie today and still think that the third one is the worst in the series is beyond my comprehension.

I was so annoyed by that second movie that I never watched anything else from that franchise. The TV show was a lot better than the second movie and went for 6 seasons in the 90s and there was a spinoff called 'Highlander: The Raven' but it was cancelled. It is worth watching if you enjoyed the first movie and the fourth movie, 'End Game' that connected the movie and the TV show together is too but I am not sure if it still airs where you live. It was on Fox8 here and I have it on DVD.

I never watched the original, but 'Lawnmower Man 2' was apparently such a traumatic experience for me that I managed to block out almost all memory of it.
