Even small animals know how to claim their space in the bed, what does it look like when you share it? I bought a bigger bed a few years ago, it didn't help.

When I take a nap in the afternoon, Xander cuddles up next to me. When I go to bed at night, Andrew cuddles up next to me. And sometimes, they quarrel over me.

They try to, but we usually put them out and they find their beds. They like being with their humans.

Of course...
What kind of savage would make their dog sleep in a crappy plastic 'bed', alone, in the kitchen?

Gordie snuggles up with me at night. He even has his own blankie and bear.

Without a doubt, yes! He also hogs the bed and hogs the blankets.
But I have a philosophy: Never move a sleeping dog. I'll curl up in a little ball so he can fit on the bed better. Priorities....

My dog is weird and prefers to sleep in his own bed.
He's older and has a memory foam dog bed that he really seems to like.

My old Bear would sleep on my stomach when he was in at night. He only came in when it was really cold or storming outside. He would purr and purr and i would always fall asleep to it-only to wake up when he started cleaning himself, lol. Gawd, that used to make me so mad. I miss him so much. My current cat, nah. My dog will sometimes sleep at my feet for a bit and will lay beside me if I'm sitting up but he won't lay next to me. He's little though so I guess he's aware of his size or something, I dunno.

My cat, Cameron, always sleeps in bed with me. I feel more content when he's next to me.
