Not a character, but I've always been amazed about what could be found in this mail order catalog:

While Tweety is my favorite WB character, if you asked me who the best ACTOR was at Termite Terrace, I'd have to say Sylvester. He appeared in films with Tweety, Porky Pig, et al. and held his own in a variety of roles. He was even good when he had no dialogue, as in his teamings with Porky. "Thoffering thoccotath!" was his catch-phrase.

Cooper, the Golden Retriever - Much the same as so-called "freedom fighters" who took the image of Che as their favourite logo. Che was anything but a freedom fighter. He was a murdering thug. Thankfully the crazy "MeToo" idiocy hasn't caught on here in the UK as it has in the US. (afaik)

Thankfully the crazy "MeToo" idiocy hasn't caught on here in the UK as it has in the US. (afaik) Idiocy?? How dare you!! Would you feel the same way if it was your mother/sister/wife/daughter was groped inappropriately or refused their rights unless they had sex with their "bosses"? Because that is just what happened to the women who finally had the courage to speak up for themselves without fear of intimidation from male pigs! And BTW, Pepe Le Pew was definitely a sexual predator who would never take "no" (implied if not actually spoken) for an answer. I realize that Chuck Jones supposedly based the character on actor Charles Boyer, but I have never seen Boyer act like that in any of his movies. I wouldn't have blamed Boyer if he sued WB for defamation.

snsurone How dare I? Because I have a brain to realise that the MeToo crap is just political. Where were they when the Clinton victims needed help?

Reading an article is one thing. Believing it is quite another.

Ralph Wolf and Sam Sheepdog. Friendly chitchat when both punching into the timeclock each day, then enemies at work, then friendly chitchat again at clocking out time. Funny!
